Very good, comfortable for a lot of walking. I had written in an older review that fabric ones generally wear out very easily... I will also tell you a trick because most of my shoes wear out at the big toe within the first 2 months with daily use at work due to friction from the inside. Even though they fit perfectly in my size, I have no issue. Just to preempt some who might think about it, this generally applies to all shoes from brands, whether they cost 30 or 100€... From old shoes, you cut a little fabric (round) just enough to cover the top part of the big toe from the inside and glue it inside with one of those small strong glues. You put your foot in the shoe with a sock to give it shape, play with it a bit; it doesn't matter if it sticks a little, you'll notice it. I've done this with all of them and I've saved them for years! Only from the sides, after 3-4 years, they wear out and that's it.

I only wear them on Sundays when I go for basketball on a concrete court and I have to say that, at first, I was satisfied but they tore very quickly. Both shoes got holes in three areas on the front and side. Additionally, a piece of the sole of the shoes came off due to wear and tear (because of the high friction on the concrete). [Obviously, they are not intended for such use, but as a sports shoe, it is unacceptable for it to tear after just a few uses.] Nevertheless, they are anatomically superior but not perfect in terms of stability (the insole is soft inside and my feet didn't hurt at all). I have worn them once for hiking in rough terrain and also on smooth surfaces and I was satisfied, except for the bad sensation, feeling like I was just wearing a thick sock.

I am updating the review because I got a second pair and it was excellent in comfort, especially with insoles.
Previous experience (1st pair):
After 2 pairs of Gel Contend 7, I decided to try the 8 expecting it to be just as good. Unfortunately, although it looks improved, it is less comfortable to walk in than its predecessor, while the first slight tear came sooner than expected and without heavy use.
Consider that I only had this particular pair for walking, while the Gel Contend 7, which I have run over 1,000 km in, is still a better choice in terms of comfort. It might have been a defective product, but every time after walking, I had pain in my sole that I do not experience with other shoes.
Overall, I would recommend everyone to prefer the previous model (gel contend 7) as it has proven to be by far the best shoe for walking and running in its category and comfortably competes with much more expensive options.

In the positives, they appear more compact compared to the Contend 7, they have a nicer cut and without affecting the size.
Unfortunately, they have a relatively hard tread. They are not suitable for walking more than 5 kilometers. I didn't even consider using them for running. They are so hard that they hit both of my feet, exactly in the same spot, on the big toe from the outside. In the end, I ended up using the Contend 7 with over a year of use already.
If you want them for appearance, I think they are worth it. If you really want to use them, I would recommend trying something else.

I give it 4 stars because I bought them after using the previous model (Gel Contend 7) for many months, and although the 8 proved to be slightly better in everything, unfortunately it did not last the same as it started tearing the mesh at the points of the toes much earlier. Because I had bought the 7 three times with heavy use at work (almost 10km of walking daily) and I was completely satisfied with its durability, I knew well how much it can withstand. However, the 8 that I decided to try left us early, at least 2 months earlier. I will order the 7 again now, for as long as I can still find it.

Excellent shoe for its price. Bought it for 40€.
Very lightweight and the foot breathes well, while it does not slip at all. I have used it for light gym training, light outdoor running for 4-5km, as well as for long walks, and it satisfied me in all uses.
It is more of a comfort and cushion shoe, rather than a bounce shoe, which is what I personally wanted and looked for, so I do not know if they can withstand heavier use such as long-distance running or heavy CrossFit gym training.
If I had to criticize something negatively, it is a bit lacking in ankle support without being really bad.
One of the best shoes I have worn at such a low price.

Bought for 37.50 euros. The shoe is not suitable for intense running, but rather for a very relaxed run. It is suitable for everyday use, but not for standing for long hours. It is not a shoe that brings you much comfort when wearing it. The fabric is hard and inflexible, not very well-made. It allows the foot to breathe adequately. The sole is not great, it provides a decent grip but lacks responsiveness and is not suitable for intense running. For its price and for everyday use, it is okay.
