A gaming laptop with RTX 4070 8GB and i7 14650HX processor, 16GB DDR5 RAM at 5600MHz and a 15-inch screen with 2K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 3mm bezel, and of course supports G-Sync.
Quite compact with large air vents and a thickness of almost 2.7 cm, and a weight of 2.3 kg, very nice design with ARGB for more FPS, with this little charm here, built-in WiFi 7, HDMI, audio jack, and many USB ports including 1 Thunderbolt 4 that also supports DisplayPort 1.4, meaning with a little cable you can connect it to an external monitor, Dolby Atmos functionality with very powerful speakers.
All games at 2K resolution high graphics and in Apex Legends we had an average of 130 FPS,
In Battlefield 2042 110 FPS and in CS 2 similarly 130 to 140, while at 1080p 150 FPS consistently.
Of course, it switches the graphics from the integrated ones to the GPU for proper power consumption depending on the task you are doing, in benchmarks on 3D Mark it scored 2,700 on the GPU and of course it didn't struggle even in video editing as it ran DaVinci Studio very comfortably, both in workflow and in rendering.
Overall good. Good performance and nice cooling system. Its hardware is desktop-class so it raises temperatures but not to a scary degree. Its price has increased slightly since we concluded the review, but we leave it here for you to have an idea: https://youtu.be/mGxnr4IkGbM
Its main competitors are Lenovo with the Legion 5 and Acer with the Predator Neo. If we compare them side by side, there are definitely some areas where it falls behind, such as the screen - but the 165Hz is very cool.
Compared to the simpler version, you pay a lot more money to get the RTX 4070 and if you don't mind lowering the graphics settings or activating DLSS upscaling to gain a few FPS, then the version with the RTX 4060 saves you about 400-450€ or about 20FPS during gaming.
