Celtic Atlantic Salt

Coarse ground sea salt mined on the coasts of Brittany, a region in northern France. The salt is hand-harvested using traditional methods and without the use of additives. The result is a moist salt, which contains valuable minerals in combination with a high percentage of highly concentrated seawater. The natural gray color of the salt is due to its contact with clay during the crystallization period. It is believed to contain approximately 84 trace elements, with particularly high levels of magnesium and iodine.

Compared to other types of salt extracted from the sea floor, Celtic salt is less salty, softer on the palate, and richer in flavor.

Usage: In cooking as well as in baking.
