I have never had a Razer keyboard before, but I had a very good mechanical one from Corsair which is still functional; I just wanted a change and seeing the new features (snap tap, rapid trigger) immediately caught my interest since I mainly play FPS online games. Very nice feel to the keys and very convenient size since I am going to tenkeyless for the first time, a little noisier than the previous one I had but it doesn't bother me. Everything is good and nice so far; in time it will show if it was worth the money.
I had and have the V2 tkl.
In short.
Unacceptable especially compared to the V2.
POSITIVES
- The service from Razer which accepted the refund immediately without any issue.
- Fantastic RGB
NEGATIVES
- Functional. It does not allow you to adjust the sensitivity of certain keys like the windows key. As a result, they actuate as soon as you touch them. I literally couldn't use it because of the windows key. I had to disable it while gaming.
- Unacceptable wrist rest. Although magnetic, it is a hard brick without padding. After five minutes of use, my hands were hurting.
I can't say more as I couldn't use it because of the two negatives I mentioned.
The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro is a keyboard with endless features and an incredible feel on the keys. I didn't expect to like an analog keyboard more than a mechanical one. You can easily customize it to your liking and adjust how much pressure the key requires to be pressed. I believe analog keyboards are the future. In the product photos, I have uploaded videos showcasing it.
