    I bought it together with the toaster and I faced the same problem with both devices. You can't touch them!!! Due to the metallic construction, when the water heats up, you simply can't touch it except for the handle. Nice design, I must say, but it doesn't go well in terms of practicality. I was going for Smeg, but due to money, I ended up with this one. In the end, you get what you pay for.
