The Arctic Freezer 36 A-RGB heatsink is designed to provide powerful and quiet Active cooling, which means it uses a fan to reduce the processor's temperature.
With the push-pull configuration, the Freezer 36 not only impresses with its efficient cooling performance but also with its design. The soldered ends of the heat pipes are hidden by the screwed aluminum cover, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into any computer setup and showcase both performance and appearance.
Intel tests and approves cooling solutions for its CPUs. ARCTIC's cooling solutions have not only been included in the Enthusiast and Desktop categories, but also feature the Liquid Freezer III 420, which has been validated as a cooling solution for the unlocked Intel® Core® i9-13900K / i9-13900KF and i9-14900K / i9-14900KF processors. The independent loading mechanism (ILM) of Intel deforms the CPU by pressing it into the socket at two points with over 40 kilograms. This causes stress on the board, the DIE, and the solder layer between the DIE and the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader).
With a high thermal load, this can lead to long-term issues. The mounting frame from ARCTIC does not deform the CPU, massively reduces the mechanical load on the CPU, installs quickly and easily, and allows the cooler to be screwed onto the backplate of the CPU. As a result, the mechanical stress on the motherboard and CPU is minimized, cooling performance remains stable, and installation is quick and simple.
Thanks to a combination of alloy and lubricant developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is minimized, resulting in greater efficiency. In addition to preventing lubricant loss, the wear of the pin and sleeve is also minimized. This way, less heat is generated, less noise from the bearings, and the fan's lifespan is significantly extended.
The heatsink fins are open on the side, allowing the pull fan to draw additional cool air out of the computer case through the heatsink. This side-flow design achieves even more efficient ventilation.
ARCTIC relies on the proven P fans, which are known for their strong performance. The P series is particularly suitable for use in heatsinks and radiators. Due to the dense structure of the heatsink fins, the fans used achieve significantly better performance than fans designed for airflow thanks to their high static pressure.

Very honest and with super performance, it justifiably is the cooler with the best VFM for 2024 (and we’ll see). At 25-35 €, don’t look at anything else. Now that I’m writing the review, it has indeed gone up (here in Greece at least) close to 45, so there are pure rock, assassin, etc. which are also very noteworthy.
The installation is very easy, just pay a little attention to the torque you give when tightening because due to direct contact it has great importance.
In practice, it has the same performance as the freezer 34 duo and has a significantly lower price. With testing on the i5 13400 in bench tests, it didn’t go above 43 °C (20°C ambient) with 30 minutes of cinebench and PL2 permanently activated.
Excellent cooler in my friend's build to the point that I got jealous and mine will be upgraded soon as well. A bit large, so caution to anyone with a small case, but the temperature difference is incredible. And the best part of all. SILENT.
I bought it for €33 and now as I'm writing, it costs €25 directly from Arctic (I didn't buy from there because the black version wasn't available). I consider it the go-to up to €30-35.
Very quiet, the way the fans snap in should just become the new standard and it generally fits easily (at least for AM4). Maybe the only complaint is that for AM4, the surface that touches the processor is a bit small, but it hasn't affected my temperatures.
It's negligibly worse than the Freezer 34 Sports Duo with a better price and a slightly more minimal design (which I like, but that's subjective).
If you can raise the price a bit to around €45, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin (note, not the mini version) offers a lot of performance.
25 euros with shipping from the official Artic page, and you get an air cooler with dual fan with almost the same performance as the Bequiet Dark Rock Pro 4 for almost 1/4 of the price and with a 6-year warranty.

I had the AMD cooler and when I installed this specific one, it dropped the temperature by about 20 degrees, for 30 it's worth it.
Tremendous value for money, all-black stealth look with two 120mm fans that do a great job, easy to install and maintains temperatures at a good level with low noise. It is unbeatable for this price. The only negative is that it does not have installation instructions inside and you have to scan the QR code on the packaging to be directed to the manufacturer's website

I received it yesterday, bought directly from Arctic. For the money I got it, 25 with shipping, it's really a steal. I had the 34 esports duo and the difference with this one is the easy placement of the fans, which now attach directly to the heatsink and are not with those awful little screws that used to drive you crazy until you put them on. Performance-wise, it's more or less the same as the 34 esports duo. Buy without fear.
