  Recently purchased in beige color. While I am quite satisfied overall with the machine, I noticed the following strange issue. The filters that are placed in the handle (double or single) do not lock (click in). It does not create any problem in the coffee production, but during cleaning, as you can understand, the entire filter falls into the container as soon as you flip the handle. On the handle, there is a plastic piece to hold the filter during cleaning, but that also does not stabilize, making the cleaning process very difficult and creating a mess of coffee everywhere. Searching a bit online, I saw that in the black color, the handle is different and the filters click in properly, as they should in any proper portafilter. This is something that should definitely be mentioned somewhere unless it is a defect! If anyone knows anything, their opinion would be very helpful.

  Replaced a Krupps we had for over 10 years. We got it (randomly) on Black Friday, so its price was ridiculously low for this specific machine. The quality of the coffee it makes is excellent, and its taste is comparable to professional machines. There is a learning curve for the frothy milk that you will need to familiarize yourself with to do it well. After 2-3 times, though, I believe the result will fully satisfy you.

  The only thing I knew about espresso before the purchase was how to order it. Very easy to use and clean. It makes good coffee like the ones you order outside.   Perhaps my review may not be entirely objective as I did not previously have a espresso machine, but I will share it.

  The machine makes very good coffee and I find it very convenient that the water flow can be adjusted for single and double shots depending on individual preference. For example, I like my coffee light and I set a slightly higher flow. The crema comes out very good even though I set 45 seconds of flow for the double shot, so after a certain point, it comes out a bit like foam.

  I discovered that for successful frothy milk, the outer cylinder must be removed from the steam nozzle. In the photo, I show it along with my first cappuccino. I also tried it with plant-based milk that is meant for such use, and it also turned out well. Of course, it was less good than full cow's milk, which is reasonable.

  I also tried it with Nespresso capsules, and the coffee comes out very good as well, just like with the machine we have at work that is only for capsules.

  In conclusion, I do not regret the purchase at all. It is truly VFM. I hope it proves to be durable over time.

  The purchase was made 4 days ago... Today it was tested since I have many years of experience in coffee preparation. The test was done with pre-ground coffee from the market (Lavazza) and with the coffee I make (in a professional machine) and drink daily at work, but changing the grinder setting to a coarser grind to match the grind of the packaged coffee sold in the markets. The result was excellent in both cases. Yes, the crema is not 100% crema, it has a bit of foam, but the taste is about 90% close to the professional machine. ATTENTION, set the extraction time of the double shot to 24-26 seconds (from 30 seconds) and for cappuccino, to thicken the milk, you will remove the outer casing of the steam wand, and with full 3.5% cold milk in 20 seconds, you will have a wonderful result. If you do not remove it (see photo), there is no way the milk will thicken. I proceeded to purchase after testing the Delonghi Stilosa, which left me with positive impressions, but the Primo is much better in everything (build quality, coffee quality with pressurized group, much lower noise, better milk frothing)

Read the instructions to set (for single and double shots) how many seconds you want the water to run before it stops (the ideal for a double shot is between 22 to 26 seconds). The machine is set to stop at 30 seconds, and the result may not be satisfactory for some. For those who cannot achieve the frothy milk, let it run for about 2 seconds from the nozzle until the accumulated water is released and clean steam comes out.
