On a computer, it works just fine for files, X-rays, DVDs, etc. On a smart TV (Samsung) that some mention it works with, at least for me, it doesn't recognize it. Anyway, it's decent, lightweight without taking up any space, does what it "promises," although logically cheaper devices do the same job

I have been using it for over 5 years without any problems. The door is not very sturdy, so be careful when inserting a disc. It comes with a USB cable for power and data.
