The solution for cases where we want to install multiple indoor units without filling the exterior of the building with external units, is the choice of a Fujitsu multi split system, a system where a single external unit can supply refrigerant to multiple indoor units.

The installation of a Fujitsu multi split system is cost-effective when the number of indoor units is greater than 2 and up to 5.

• It has lower installation costs as we install fewer external units
• It has longer pipe lengths as we cannot install the external units directly outside the indoors as we would in the case of simple splits. (Nevertheless, the overall installation cost is lower than what we would pay for the installation of multiple individual splits)
• It has lower maintenance costs, as the technician will have to maintain fewer external units
• It operates very efficiently, although it has slightly lower performance than regular split air conditioners. The reasons to choose a Multi split air conditioning system are therefore architectural reasons (to avoid filling the building with external units) and economic reasons for the cases we mentioned above.
