Description

This high-sensitivity 24GHz human presence radar sensor uses FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) to detect human targets in a predefined area. By combining radar signal processing and an accurate human detection algorithm, it achieves high sensitivity in detecting human presence, recognizing the human body in both moving and static states, and calculating auxiliary information such as the distance to the target.

The radar's detection capability is unaffected by environmental factors such as temperature, brightness, humidity, and light fluctuations. Additionally, FMCW radars can penetrate materials, allowing the unit to operate well in a sealed housing without requiring holes.

This microwave radar is mainly used indoors to detect the presence of moving or small moving individuals within the detection area and provides real-time detection results. It offers a detection range of up to 6 meters and a resolution of 0.75m. It also provides a serial communication protocol so that users can adjust the detection area, sensitivity at different intervals, and the delay time for various applications.

The unit supports UART and GPIO (high and low levels) outputs. When used with Arduino or other controllers, it can be flexibly applied to various projects such as smart lighting control, starting advertising boards through human interaction, UV lighting control, and home security.
