Description

The EXTRALINK 1 PORT POE adapter and splitter is an ideal solution when powering a device that does not support either the IEEE 802.3af power standard or passive poe is required. Power can be supplied via an ethernet cable, allowing simultaneous network communication at a speed of 100Mb/s.

The unit includes the injector, which introduces voltage into the ethernet cable, and the splitter, which provides power through a jack-type port. The maximum voltage that can be used at the input is 48V DC. The power injector can be used to connect IP cameras that do not support power over ethernet as well as wireless lan network access points.

By using the injector and splitter set, it is possible to connect to a nonpoe type switch.
