Dwarf Bougainvillea! The bougainvillea is a subtropical evergreen plant, originating from South America. It has become a trademark of the Mediterranean summer and the Greek islands. Perfectly adapted to the summer conditions of our region, it is characterized by heat and drought, offering abundant color and style with minimal care.

The most impressive part of the bougainvillea is its flowers, which are adorned with a red-fuchsia wrapping and have a characteristic almost papery texture. They appear in spring and usually last until September.

It prefers sunny locations with humidity, as it comes from tropical places. It has great drought resistance, but the lack of water can distress it, making it thorny with less lush foliage.

In winter, it requires protection from the cold and frost, as well as a halt in watering until the weather becomes warm again.
