Gaming keyboard by Redragon with RGB illuminated keys in US English layout. It is mechanical, making it ideal for gamers as well as those who desire fast typing. It has quick response and accuracy, as its switches activate halfway through the press, saving movements when typing. Compared to membrane keyboards, they last longer but have the disadvantage of noise, which can often be annoying to those around. It features LK Red switches that require less activation force than black ones, allowing them to return to position faster, making them more comfortable during prolonged use. It has relatively low noise and is ideal for gaming, especially in games where one needs to press the same key multiple times in a short period. It is 75% the size of a standard keyboard, requires less desk space, and does not have numeric keys on the right side. It connects wirelessly to the computer for greater comfort and flexibility.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
UPDATE AFTER ONE MONTH
The worst purchase ever. Firstly, I cannot manage to write anything more than a few words without it freezing. It stops typing or individual keys do not respond.
To explain, I tried it with Bluetooth and with 2.4, directly on the laptop or on a hub, and the behavior is the same. It has been getting worse constantly in the last 10 days. I close it, open it, try everything in general to see if it will unfreeze.
You start typing and suddenly it stops. It freezes, it types the same letter 10 times depending on its mood. I'm not talking about one letter being stuck, it's like it has a bug all the time.
I give it 1 star and that's being generous considering the price for it to break within a month.
Initial Review
The keyboard is very convenient due to the red switches, especially for a beginner in mechanical keyboards like myself. I really like the feel of it and I believe it's worth the money. It seems solid, but obviously it will show in 1-2 years from now.
It is quite lightweight, I think. Obviously not as lightweight as membrane keyboards.
Other than that, because it is quite high, you might need a wrist rest depending on the height of your hands in relation to the desk.
Obviously, I didn't buy it from Greece but from their official website since they ship to Greece regularly. I bought it for €58.60 and at this price, you won't find anything better. The switches have very good feedback and the feeling is significantly better than the HyperX Alloy Origins I had before. If you want to change switches, there are countless options to choose from and you can put whatever you want without being limited to one switch. I only recommend it at the price range of 50-60-70 euros and not more because it's not worth €100. There are much better options on the market for €100+.
