AMD 3D V-Cache™ Technology

Simply flawless. I mainly play CS2 and PUBG, and specifically for CS, more on Faceit, which is known to slightly "heavier" the CPU usage. My previous processor was the Ryzen 5 2600, a good processor... five years ago. I will speak with numbers. CS2 deathmatch: (R5 2600) 60-100 fps -> (R7 5700X3D) 200-300 fps. Faceit 5v5: (2600) 100-140. (5700X3D) 250-350. At the same time, I use the MSI GTX 1660 Ti 6GB and 16GB RAM overclocked to 2933MHz. Finally, the final price was €222.
Coming from a 5600x for CPU-demanding games, it's a one-way street, especially when the GPU is running low due to load. Temperatures with a Thermalright 14mm -20 offset are 50-65°C. Very stable fps, so everything is exceptionally smooth without the slightest stuttering. It's worth it by far, and at first, I was hesitant because I play at 1440p; however, the difference is immediately noticeable.
Awesome! Together with an MSI RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio at 2k resolution that I play, it is unstoppable! The card is pushed to 100% and over 40% CPU usage, I haven't seen that yet!
Since I don't play FPS games, in the ones I do play (one is World of Warships) with max quality setup in the nVidia control panel as well as in the settings of each game, it gives me crazy FPS (in WoWs it gives about 160FPS, see photos) Personally, I consider it excellent value for money and a gem from AMD!

You have no reason to go for AM5. It has such good performance in games that when you need something stronger, AM6 and DDR6 will be out.

I just need to mention that I sold the 5950x and bought this one. Perhaps the best price/performance processor of all time in purely gaming scenarios. Obviously, it doesn't perform particularly well in productivity, but I guess no one would buy it for productivity.
Coming from a 5600x overclocked at 4.5, I can say that the purchase was worth it and then some. By doing a quick undervolt of -30 on all cores, the temperature dropped from 69-70 under full load to 59-60 with absolutely no loss in performance. In normal desktop use, it feels the same, if not better, than the 5600x, but in games, it plays a very significant role which GPU is being used, as well as how much the particular game utilizes the 3D cache it has. With a 3080ti at a resolution of 3440x1440, I saw anywhere from no difference to 20-25% in average, but the lows were almost always elevated. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to give a couple more years of life to their AM4 platform!
I haven't done benchmarks so I don't have an opinion, I had an R5 2600X overclocked at 4.3 and I put this one in, I didn't see much difference just because I have the fps locked at 144, I did the upgrade because the computer was stuttering in general use not in games, generally it seems to run more smoothly now and it is definitely a class above, I just haven't tested it to its full potential, the only downside is that it is locked and I can't set fixed clocks, only undervolt is possible.
I was looking for its big brother but couldn't find it anywhere, so I ended up with this one, and the difference with the previous 2600x I had is huge. I think at the 210 euros I snagged it for, it's VFM
If you are on AM4, it is the best choice because it gives you performance of 7600x, while the 5800x3d is not worth it as it has almost the same performance at double the price now
There is none. It is the most value for money processor at 200 euros. If you have AM4, don't even think about it. The only better one by 5% is the 5800x3d and that costs 100 euros more
Amazing value for money for AM4. It could easily cost 240 since it is slightly inferior to the 5800x3d. Also, it can handle air cooling, but I would recommend downloading the PBO2 Tuner and setting all the cores to -30, which as far as I know is stable for everyone. You can experiment with lower settings; for example, mine is okay at -50 during long stress tests. This will result in MUCH lower temperatures/power consumption and slightly better performance. Just find a way to make it run at startup; you will find many guides on the Internet.
Purchased for €158, I installed it on an Asus Prime B350 Plus that I've had since 2017 (I also upgraded from a 1060 to a 3080). In Cinebench R23 with the Arctic Freezer 34 esports duo and -30 on all cores in pbotuner, it reaches up to 80. It is 5% lower than the 5800X3D. If you find it at a good price and want a powerful upgrade while already on AM4, don't think twice, it's a chaotic difference compared to the Ryzen 5 2600 I had.
From Ryzen 5 3600XT, I switched to this CPU which I believe is a great value for money. It really boosted my FPS to the sky.
Personally, I play PUBG which is a heavy game. With my previous CPU, paired with an RTX 4060, I had a lot of spikes and stuttering, and my FPS ranged from 65 to 110 at best... but now, guys, there's a huge difference. I'm playing over 200 FPS and many times it reaches 300, it's unbelievable. I highly recommend it! The only issue is that it seems to run a bit hot, even though I have an Arctic cooler. During summer, it hits temperatures of 75-81 degrees, but I think it's also because of the heat in my room. However, I'm obviously satisfied!
Upgrade from AMD Ryzen 3700x to 5700x3d. Completely satisfied, -20 PBO Curve for lower temperatures without performance loss. Significant increase in gaming performance, almost complete elimination of micro-stutter. For those on AM4, I think it is necessary as the final upgrade for extending the system's lifespan by at least 2-3 years.
A very reliable processor, especially for gaming. Its price is fair, around 200-220€, personally I bought it for 204€, while the price of the 5800x3d has gone up. For those who have stayed with previous generation r3 - r5 - r7, it is worth upgrading. Ideal for the AM4 socket and future proof.
The processor performs very well in games, easily handles high-end GPUs, compared to the 5800x3d it is about 5-10% lower depending on the game.
In terms of temperature, it is at normal levels with a moderate liquid cooling.
I will not do Hate. I always think that when something comes out, it is expensive and then prices drop (apple, xiaomi, intel, nvidia, amd, coolermaster, corsair and many other products). Let's focus on the positives and negatives.
The little brother of the 5800x3D has arrived. I still don't understand why the 5600x3D has not come to Greece and they only sell it as "walmart/microcenter EXCLUSIVE"... However, the 5700x3D is an OK proposition. It's not fantastic to fall in love with (it doesn't come with cooling, has the same TDP as its big bro (or Aniki for the NERDS) 5800x3D and only 4.1 instead of 4.5 ghz single core speed. In terms of performance, it has scenarios with 5% less than the big brother and in some others up to 13%... If someone asks, it's OK but only if you find it for 200-220, otherwise it's a bad investment-buy.
At 255€ where you can find it now in stores, you save 20-25€ in your wallet for 5-15% less performance... very bad...

I repeat at the $209 MSRP it was released in America it's great against the $279 5800x3D. At the moment, nope, put your hand a little deeper in your pocket and give the extra 20€ for the 5800x3D
