I have acne with blackheads and I apply it after tretin! It stings instead of soothing me! Other than that, it's fine!

It is a moisturizer that I have been using for years. For oily skin, it is very good as it leaves you with a matte finish, it does not have a strong scent and absorbs easily. It does not provide deep hydration; if someone needs it for that, it is a milder moisturizer.

Initially, I purchased the cream with the aim of tightening the pores, but I really like the matte result it leaves. It didn't make me feel oily or anything else. For hydration, yes, it's not the extra that we would want, but okay, it's a treatment product. With an additional sunscreen, it works well, or a light gel absorbs nicely into my skin personally.

The soft scent it has is wonderful and it indeed makes my facial skin matte and absorbs easily. However, I give it 2 stars because after a little while, I feel my eyes quite heavy (even though I don't apply it very close to my eyes) and I feel my skin starting to itch and I just want to rinse it off with water. I tried it 2-3 times when I bought it a few months ago and I decided to try it again now, but unfortunately, there was no difference. Since I found Avene Cleanance, I wouldn't change it for anything

I have acne-prone skin but I would like it to be a little more moisturizing and refreshing. It didn't cause me any problems on my skin.

I believe that this specific cream did something for my oily, acne-prone skin in terms of hydration. But as for reducing sebum production and minimizing imperfections, I have to say... not at all! If anything, I noticed that my pimples actually worsened since I started using it. I'm not sure if the cream is entirely to blame, but I didn't see any improvement. Now that I've started treatment with isotretinoin pills, I will definitely choose a different cream.

It is a very nice cream, it has a very light feel and leaves the face matte, without drying it out. It tightens the pores so well that now any pimple that appears turns into a cyst. So instead of disappearing in a week, it keeps you company for many more.

Very satisfied with the product, it moisturizes and my face doesn't look tired for the rest of the day. Just towards the end, you will need to cut the packaging because there is a lot of product left inside which is difficult to get out.

The effaclar MAT cream really does what it promises!
It makes the skin soft, it doesn't make my skin oily and I feel much lighter throughout the time I wear the cream!

I like the result it gives me when I use it. I have very oily skin and it has saved me from shining like a star! With confidence, I can say that it is one of the best creams for imperfections that provide hydration and a matte appearance to the skin. I expected more. I'm not saying it's bad, it just doesn't do exactly what it promises for me. At first, it's matte but after a while, my face becomes oily in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin). Also, it didn't do a great job with acne. I have combination to oily skin with occasional acne, and I wasn't impressed with the results, so considering the price, I'm not sure if I would buy it again. I've been using it for about 2 weeks. I hope it will have better results after a month.

On the positive side, it spreads easily without needing a lot of quantity, it doesn't cause irritation, it has a light fresh feeling, and it has a neutral scent.

I have been using it for only one week and when I wake up, my skin is no longer oily. However, I don't think the pores are shrinking, but I can see a difference on my face. It is smoother and the redness is improving. In combination with the soap, I think it is very good compared to products from other companies that made my skin very dry! In the positives, it is indeed a cream with a light texture and a matte finish, it does not worsen acne (probably). However, it does not provide any feeling of hydration, the skin feels a bit tight and dry, and it does the same as any other product I have tried for scars, which is absolutely nothing. Personally, it does not help improve the appearance of my skin at all, it seems to "gray" me, and as expected, it does not help with fine lines either. The absence of fragrance makes it even more unpleasant for me.
I had the exact same problems with effaclar duo, but I gave the company a second chance since they have other exceptional products, such as the Lipikar range that I use for my baby, but obviously it does not suit me at all.

Do not buy it, it does not help with acne... It contains alcohol as a third ingredient, which causes dryness, thus more oiliness and then pimples. Combined with the effaclar soap, your face becomes a Sahara desert. Before buying anything, always, always look at the ingredients.

I used it for several years! I was very satisfied overall! Perfect texture, absorbs instantly, leaves no greasiness at all! I consider it ideal especially for oily skin. I changed it because of the price, as I found a cheaper one with more ml (aloe+colors pink glass jar).

It was recommended to me by my dermatologist since I have combination skin with acne tendencies (although I don't have acne). I am satisfied without being thrilled, it absorbs easily and leaves a light feeling on my face compared to other creams I have tried. I have been using it for about 7 months and in combination with the corresponding La Roche cleanser, I can say that I have seen a difference in terms of pimples and black marks, both the quantity and frequency have significantly decreased. VERY IMPORTANT TIP: Do not throw it away when it's finished - cut it in half with scissors, you will be surprised at how much product remains in the tube and doesn't come out no matter how much you squeeze, resulting in a considerable amount of wasted product...

Overall, while I have respect for the company, this product left me indifferent. It did not moisturize my skin. The feeling and appearance it left was like I had applied a thin-textured primer. Then I noticed that dimethicone (silicone) is listed as the third ingredient, and I thought that explains it. So, as a primer before makeup, it's fine, but I wouldn't use it for anything else. It keeps oiliness away for about 3 hours and does not irritate the skin.
