Small and user-friendly charger. The charging time is a bit negative (long, probably). The light never changes from red (it either works or it doesn't, that's the indicator). And, like the people from Chios, the batteries come in pairs...

I bought this product exclusively for its ability to charge 2 x 9V NiCD-NiMH batteries. I inserted 2 9V batteries and expected almost double the time suggested by the manufacturer, which was 10-12 hours. The reason was that I expected at some point the 2 red LEDs, which indicate that the charger is in charging mode, to turn green or at least turn off, so that I would have an indication that the charging was complete. This never happened, the LEDs were always lit red. As for the charger with 2 9V batteries on top, I would say that it did not get warm compared to the load.

So far so good, as this may be the machine's way of functioning and it would not be enough reason to give a bad review to the charger. However, in order to evaluate it and have an idea of how much my batteries charged, I inserted 2 x AAA NiMH batteries that I recently purchased. After leaving them for more than the recommended 5 hours of charging by the charger's manufacturer, I then placed them in my other charger XTAR VC4 (which unfortunately does not charge 9V batteries), which has digital and graphical display of the charging process, in order to see at what level the charging has reached. I was disappointed because the batteries needed to stay in the charger for another 3 hours to reach maximum capacity and stop charging. Therefore, for me, this charger being reviewed does not meet my needs and I cannot trust it.

Of course, the part regarding the charging of the 9V batteries, I cannot evaluate, but if I judge based on the AAA batteries, I do not recommend purchasing the charger.
