The fixtures of the Lumina collection by Trio Lighting consist of metal parts finished in matt black as well as glass in chrome or honey. A technique called polarization is used to create the mirror effect in the glass cover. Inside the glass, there is a coating made of a polarizing film (membrane), which allows light to exit but not to enter.
