This is the 3rd book in my favorite series, Dreamland Billionaires, and the story of Cal and Lana. It’s my favorite book of the three; I enjoyed it so much, I felt so many emotions while reading it, and that’s why it’s clearly a 10! Wonderful magical writing, with humor, a lot of love, and a sweet friendship that has been tested over the years. Cal struggles with his demons while desperately trying to stand on his own after being distanced from the one thing that makes him happy. Lana tries to overcome what they experienced and carve her own path, while twists and new faces appear in her life. And somewhere in that small town by Lake Wisteria, at a marina, two young people fell in love years ago. However, Cal must complete his part for the inheritance by returning to the lake, and along the way, he will need to make some sacrifices. Lana has promised herself not to fall in love with him again. But did she ever stop loving him? A wonderful second chance romance with two very well-written characters that I enjoyed until the end! I also want to note the clear evolution in the writing and the different plot of the story compared to the first two books, which I liked a lot!
