they really elevate you, no comparison to nike, adidas boost, nb asics gel, etc. Clearly superior, the shoe is top-notch on uneven terrain, flat road, for simple everyday walking, you feel comfort in every step. They have a low profile, the good thing is that they are suitable for all seasons and all surfaces, they are like an SUV, they go everywhere. I have a thing for shoes, I want comfort and stability. Bravo to Hoka

Much more human compared to the speedgoat in terms of cushioning. You feel like you're stepping on the ground due to the low profile. Now, in terms of training and trail races, where they are intended for, it is a fast shoe with excellent grip on gravel, rocks, and dirt. In downhill sections with wet soil, they require a little caution. I have used them in a 4-hour trail long run, in slow and fast one-hour training sessions, and in a 22km race, always on trails. They transition well on asphalt or cement sections. What has puzzled me is that the heels have shown signs of intense wear early on, unfortunately, and they will probably end up being work shoes quickly. Hopefully not, of course, because I really enjoy them...
