  We bought it for our baby's eczema on his face. It smelled strange and left a sticky residue on his cheeks. The problem is that it didn't work no matter how many times I applied it. On the other hand, I tried the Mustela sample they gave me 1-2 times and his cheeks became very soft and odorless. Avene is good, but not in this product.

  My 2-month-old baby developed severe dryness on his skin, and our pediatrician recommended this cream. I have no words, the dryness disappeared within 2 days! It is very greasy and with frequent use, it eliminates any dryness on the skin! I also used it for my very dry and damaged hands, with dramatic results. However, the bottle is "very" inconvenient, especially when the cream is running out and you want to use every last drop of the product, due to its high cost, it is a real hassle. It also runs out relatively quickly. Overall, Avene creams are impressive for hydration enthusiasts, but not so much for their soaps.
