I've had it for a week now, it's really good in terms of screen - calls - speed - speakers - cameras everything runs smoothly! Now regarding the battery, I charge it from 30-80% with light use, not heavy, gaming and such, browsing on Chrome and Facebook, and with automatic resolution it lasts the day, it's not as long-lasting as they say, you see it drains, it doesn't spare it. If I charge it to 100%, then yes, it lasts longer and I get a second day, but as I said, not with heavy use. The cameras are very good day and night, the zoom up to 30x performs very well but then it loses a bit, which is reasonable. The video is good and at night it shoots well, in HDR Dolby Vision mode it's on par with the iPhone! iPhones really excel in video but under different lighting conditions they lose it, this one performs well at night. The selfie is very good. The iPhone's selfie is unbeatable, I believe, but in daylight because in low light it loses quality. In terms of speed, it doesn't lag anywhere for any reason, it runs whatever you throw at it. Charging is really super fast and the charger is included in the box. In hand, I must say it feels good for its size. I was going for the Galaxy S23 Ultra but because it's square it feels like a brick in hand and you can't put it in your pocket easily, which is why I didn't get it because it's something you carry with you every day and every hour, and if it's not comfortable it's difficult. With the OnePlus, things are better but it's also a large and heavy device; if you have it in your front pocket, forget about sitting down. Anyway, it's worth it and competes with much more expensive phones!
11/24/2024 An iPhone 16 Pro fell into my hands and I've been comparing them for two days. Well, in terms of photography, the iPhone doesn't come close at all! The HDR of the OnePlus is much stronger! As for zoom, I won't even discuss it! In night photos, the iPhone is brighter but again, the OnePlus is more realistic; it's what you see, black sky while the iPhone lights it up. In video, although iPhones are famous for this, I will say that the OnePlus easily outperforms it in Dolby Vision mode, plus at night the iPhone can't shoot video, it produces a lot of noise and keeps stuttering while the OnePlus runs smoothly! Regarding the screen in HDR Dolby Vision video from YouTube, comparing both side by side, the OnePlus has an incredible screen with much nicer colors that are truly a gem! In browsing and scrolling, the feel of the OnePlus is something else and overall the screen is far superior to the iPhone. In terms of sunlight, I will say the iPhone is better by a click because the OnePlus's screen reflects more. In sound, the iPhone is better with very nice bass; not that the OnePlus's isn't good, but if you put them side by side, you'll notice the difference. Regarding battery life, I have complaints about the OnePlus; while everyone says it lasts, I will say it drains quickly, it doesn't spare it, and compared to the iPhone, I won't say the OnePlus is better. I believe that nowadays all phones with such processors and screens have similar battery performance. I intended to go back to iPhone because I had the 14 Pro, but now that I've put them side by side with the 16 Pro as well, I wouldn't trade this gem for an iPhone for anything! Anyone thinking of getting it should have done so already! I believe it's truly one of the best devices out there! One downside to the OnePlus, no matter how nice this screen is, is that you can't put a glass protector on it because it's curved and they don't stick at the edges, but even if it does stick, it's unbelievable that the case will lift it, so only a film which scratches easily and needs to be replaced every so often.
