5 stars!!!!
The size of 2.20 is what every family wants, so that everyone can fit in the shade!
Awesome aluminum construction, very lightweight.
I have already bought 2.
The umbrella was purchased at the beginning of the summer of 2020. It broke from the wind last Sunday (see photo). Essentially, it lasted for 2 summers with very light use. This year it broke on the second beach trip, so it doesn't count as the third summer.
The positives of the umbrella are its diameter, its weight (very light), and its shade. It was very cool under the umbrella. Unfortunately, after we bought it, we realized that its height is not adjustable and it only "locks" in one position. At the same time, the pole is very long, so its position is high (and how deep can you bury it?). Most of the time we used it "halfway" (without the bottom pole) by putting the remaining pole inside a plastic shell that we bought urgently in order to be able to use it. Only that way could we make use of it, but then the umbrella was too low and it wasn't convenient either.
Whenever we placed it normally, it was a "drama queen" with the slightest breeze and almost always turned around, while the surrounding umbrellas were "as if nothing was happening". Constant running to catch it before it flies away/breaks, etc. Well, the last time it broke. If it didn't turn around, in strong wind sometimes it would "fold" and the shade would shrink because it was too flexible.
In fact, the last time, just before it broke, we were discussing the purchase of a shock-absorbing pole (wondering if there would be one with such a large internal diameter) so that we could use it without stress and generally be more convenient for us.
From our experience, it wasn't worth its money (it's not exactly cheap to only last for 2 summers). It caused us stress and running around, and in the end, it didn't even recover its cost. All its positives were not enough to cover these basic flaws of the pole and excessive flexibility.
Sturdy construction with quality materials.
It does not have the ability to adjust the height.
I would like it to have rings for supports.
I definitely had the umbrella for 5 years, its handle is for throwing, it needs impact. The fabric is very thin. From the outside, you could distinguish the color of the interior. The ribs it has are very flexible, resulting in breaking with the slightest breeze. Of course, I believe that this is what made it withstand so much. It had endured many times in very strong winds. It was not convenient in terms of folding easily and looking around at the maui umbrellas, they were all intact. One rib broke yesterday in a gust of 7 Beaufort, of course, the neighbors who were swimming also broke 4 maui umbrellas
I bought two umbrellas two summers ago. The first summer was all good, although it would fold outward with a lot of wind. The second summer, the first one broke in two places. This year, the second one also left us hanging. In hindsight, I would prefer something more durable in construction. The joints break very easily.
Indeed very good shade and very lightweight, BUT. In the first use, the pole that goes into the ground bent. The fact that it does not have height adjustment makes it very vulnerable to strong wind. It "turned" twice from the wind and the plastic parts may not have broken, but many of the threads in the seams tore.
Update summer 2023
On the first use for this year with a wind of 3 Beaufort.....it simply DISINTEGRATED....almost all the seams broke and 2 plastic parts broke from the top. And to think that it was in a sheltered area and at half its height. Nearby, with another well-known brand (let's not mention the product), they didn't even break a sweat.
It's worth it a thousand times. If you know how to tie it, it doesn't even lift with a tornado. Very strong construction, with a case for easy transportation. Also, a very good price. I recommend +++
It is very good, sturdy, creates a large shade and comes with what it experiences to go deep into the sand. The only negative is that it is very tall, the top part does not go deeper into the lower pole, so you cannot lower it when there is strong wind.
The only problem is that the height is not adjustable.
...I'm coming back after a year,...
I bought a Maui with percussion and I was saved

In the first strong wind, all the rods broke. Disappointment.
