I bought these headphones a few days ago and I am very satisfied with this purchase. Previously, I also had Sennheiser, but the HD25, which are more for DJing than for production/mixing. So the improvement in quality for the purpose I want is huge!!! Bigger soundstage, more balanced frequencies, with an EQ they become quite flat, and they sound more expensive than they cost. Not that they are cheap, they cost almost 400 euros. But I also tried Grado worth 800 euros and I didn't like them even half as much. These are much more comfortable, lightweight, affordable, true to the source of sound. You wear them on your head and you almost forget that you are wearing headphones! Now I stay up late because I can wear them until late without being bothered, something I couldn't do before with the HD25.

They are extremely good headphones, and I can say that they have two different tuning styles depending on the ear pads you use. I got them for music/gaming and they have great depth, allowing you to accurately perceive the direction of the sound. The fabric ear pads are more detailed while the "velvet" ones are more fun with extra bass. I also have the Beyerdynamic DT990 pro and the Audio Technica ATH-M40x, which are good headphones as well, but in terms of sound stage, instrument separation, and layering, they cannot be compared to the HD 490 PRO.
