Designed for clay courts

The Nike Claybreaker technology ensures better traction and less clay buildup on the court. The added grip at the forefoot and midfoot is combined with a wide traction pattern to keep you in control during sliding movements.

For the shoe's design, we used traction and pressure maps and also analyzed the clay buildup points. We then tested it on red clay courts in Europe under various weather conditions for clay courts (cold and hot, wet and dry surfaces).

Quick cuts

A durable plastic surface at the midfoot combines with the wide base for stability during quick cuts and sudden changes of direction. The synthetic leather around the side section keeps the foot stable during lateral movements.

Freedom of movement

The extra rubber in the toe area, especially on the big toe side, adds durability in the right places. The abrasion-resistant rubber along the outsole ensures durability and traction.

Impressive Zoom unit

The Air Zoom unit in the heel provides support, while the Air Zoom unit in the forefoot offers a responsive feel with every step.
