I give 1 star to preempt all of you who will be influenced by the good reviews like I was.
I had the Redmi 8 for 4.5 years and the only problem I had was the storage capacity. The new Redmi 13 Pro almost lags unjustifiably, even though it is brand new and empty of apps. Also, the camera has completely fake colors like an oil painting. I'm also not satisfied with the battery, as with moderate use it will drop below 40%.
Finally, I use the old Redmi 8 to listen to songs louder via Bluetooth, since the speaker is lacking as well.
So yes, it is very affordable, but it shouldn't lag so much behind its predecessor...
Unfortunately, a disappointment, I expect to wait a couple of years before switching to another brand.

  After two months of use, I find it excellent, very fast, with an incredibly brighter screen than the previous Xiaomi I had and sufficient memory and camera resolution compared to much more expensive ones with the same features. Also, it is not too heavy in the hand nor too large and uncomfortable to hold. I forget to charge the battery for two days so far and it doesn't drop easily at all. It had a minor glitch related to a system app which was immediately resolved as soon as I upgraded to HyperOs. I am absolutely satisfied with my choice. This is the second consecutive time I choose the company and I retired the previous model I had after 5 years just because the battery performance dropped and it was a bit slow.

  Battery A-T-H-L-I-A barely lasts a day with light use and 0 gaming. I got it mainly because it has a slight advantage in the camera compared to the corresponding Poco (it has advantages in the processor, etc.), but if I had known that even with the modifications I've made for savings and using the save mode from the morning, the battery drains like this, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. Aaaand it has a lot of lags. Disappointment.

  I've had it for almost 6 months. I am very satisfied. It doesn't lag at all, it's very fast, its camera is unbeatable as it takes amazing videos and photos and has nice zoom with very smooth motion. The battery lasts about a day and a bit with intensive use. If you don't mess with it (which is rare), it lasts longer. It charges in 45 minutes. A fan of Xiaomi, my previous one was the Redmi Note 5 from 2017

  Excellent for the average user, very good main camera and selfie
  Expected battery life, (screen at 60Hz) with average use, social, no videos, a little gaming and data on = in 1 day from 90% to 30%.
  Also very good screen..
  The processor, decent, for social and light gaming. I didn't notice any lag, it runs fast without overheating
  Fingerprint sensor immediate, it has both NFC and FM radio at least the import here from the dealership (because I had read strange reviews that it doesn't have FM or NFC and other problems from imports for other markets)
  I found a bug in the initial setup it couldn't get an IP from the router so I set a static one to get internet
  Then it did a Miui 14/android 13 update and works flawlessly without bugs/lag
  I expect it to get HyperOS, if it has issues I will come back.
  With a purchase of 200 € I have no other expectations.
  If 5G is not a concern, it's one of the top choices.
  Update 12/12/2024:
  It got HyperOS with Android 14
  Aesthetically with a quick glance it doesn't have major differences from the last MIUI, it has some extra options,
  and in terms of speed I think it runs slightly faster

  I had the Redmi Note 9 Pro. I don't play games. However, I talk a lot on the phone and take quite a few photos and videos for my work.
  I mainly got it to have better image quality in videos.
  COMPLETE FAILURE in many aspects.
  1. Battery. While with the 9 I could talk all day, with this one I need to charge it by 2-3 in the afternoon!!! I am permanently stuck with the power bank attached to the phone!!!
  2. Camera. Slightly better photos and in the video THERE IS NO 4K!!!! Is that even possible!!!!
  Also, while the 9 has a slider for zoom in the video (which, by the way, is very smooth and nice), the 13 has a circular slider with vibrations that sound like shaking in the video!!!
  I am referring to the Redmi Note 13 Pro 256/8GB 4G Midnight Black.

  The camera is very satisfactory, unfortunately, it does not support 4K, which personally does not bother me.

  It never lags and generally feels fast.

  I have tried it for gaming and it's perfectly fine.

  For social media, browsing, emails, and payments, you won't encounter any problems.

  Finally, regarding the battery, it charges in 45 minutes and lasts a day with demanding use. If you use it less, it can last 1.5 to 2 days. Personally, I expected it to last 1.5 days with demanding use.

  Overall, it is definitely worth the money and competes with much more expensive phones.
  The truth is that Xiaomi has leveled up, and technology has advanced so much that with 200-250 euros, you are golden.

  I come from the redmi note 10 pro.
  One would say that three years later things would be better, but the phone does not shoot 4k video (while its predecessor could) and I believe the speaker is about 20% less powerful. Finally, it does not support two sims and a card simultaneously, so we are going backwards in terms of features.

  Of course, it is not only Xiaomi that does this, it is a general trend that two to three years later they release a device that simply changes the number and may even be worse.

  Well, this phone is identical to the poco m6 pro, the only difference is that the redmi has a better wide-angle camera at 200 megapixels, the rest is the same. They both have the same chipset, the helio G99, which is nothing impressive but in its price category, it may be the best. Both phones also have the same 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that supports 120hz, which is amazing for everyday use but don't expect more than 60 fps in a game like pubg. Finally, it has an impressively fast fingerprint scanner, which is quite good in its price category. I recommend getting the poco m6 pro instead of this one because the megapixels in both cameras don't differ much, while all the other features are the same + the poco M6 pro comes with hyperOS and is €50 cheaper. But if you are after a camera, get this phone or even better, get the 5g model of the redmi note 13 pro.
