Known as Garfield's favorite pasta, lasagna originates from Naples and has a long, flat, rectangular shape with wavy edges. It is most often cooked as a baked dish in a casserole. It is made with layers of lasagna scattered with various sauces, cheeses, and other ingredients. It is ideal for oven recipes, for example with bechamel and vegetables, with meat and tomato, or with mushrooms and cream. It also pairs particularly well with ragu sauce. Green lasagna, in particular, stands out in recipes where red radicchio is the protagonist, creating an interesting flavor harmony and color contrast.

Cooking Instructions:
The water should be boiling vigorously before adding the pasta. Just before it boils, add salt, preferably coarse. In 5 liters of water, use 1 tablespoon. Boil the pasta on high heat, with the pot uncovered, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Depending on the size, shape, and thickness of the pasta, different types have different cooking times. The same applies to two identical types of pasta from different brands. To prevent them from becoming mushy, follow the cooking time indicated on the packaging.
