Camping tent Escape Trail IV with a capacity of 4 people, featuring a single roof. Made from Polyester 190T with 1000mm waterproofing. It has 2 doors and 2 side windows for better ventilation and weighs only 1.9 kg. This makes it easy to transport and, due to its construction, it is very easy and quick to set up.
The frame made of fiberglass is a common choice for the construction of camping tents. It is a lightweight and durable material, made from fiberglass fibers that are usually coated with polyester to protect them from water and moisture.
Fiberglass is flexible, allowing the frame to be lightweight and bendable to support the tent fabric.
T means Thread which refers to fiber, and the number indicates the sum of vertical and horizontal fibers in one square inch of fabric (see photo). The higher the Thread count, the denser the weave and the greater the fabric's durability.
D means Denier and it is a unit of measurement for the thickness of a thread. A lower denier means a finer fiber, while a higher denier means a thicker, more durable fiber. To calculate the Denier of a polyester fiber, a piece of 9,000 meters in length is weighed, and the resulting grams are the Denier of the fiber. Therefore, if a 9,000-meter-long polyester fiber weighs 210 grams, its Denier is 210.
The waterproofing of a tent indicates how much water the outer fabric can repel. It is measured in millimeters (mm) and refers to how many millimeters of vertical water column (and thus pressure) a square centimeter of fabric can withstand without being penetrated by water.
The higher the degree of waterproofing, the less breathable the fabric is, and thus the warmer the tent. Widely used waterproofing values range from 500mm to 10000mm. Theoretically, any fabric with waterproofing >1000mm is considered waterproof. For example, a summer tent may have waterproofing from 500 to 1500mm.

I had bought the III version in 2019 which looks the same as this one. At 1000mm it let in quite a bit of water after an hour-long downpour, but that is to be expected.
For the money, it's great. For two people, it's the best, but not for more to be very spacious. And of course, it's not just for 3 summers as I read in some other review.

The tent was used for free and organized camping.
(-) Its construction quality is mediocre and its color does not reflect any heat.
(+) With proper fastening, I was not worried at all despite the strong wind. The comfort provided by the large tent is incomparable compared to a 3-person tent, and the double door was crucial as someone could stay inside even with the sun above their head.
In the end, at the price I got it (40€), I would buy it again. However, if someone has an extra 20€ to spare, they might be able to find better options in this size.
