It requires patience and surface cleaning. It sticks very well, you don't need a heat gun. I highly recommend it. I only put one layer, but definitely if you put a double layer it's even better, although it adds a lot of weight afterwards. To cover these surfaces you see, I bought two packs, totaling 16 sheets

I used a heat gun and a roller to apply it correctly. I have not yet put them on the rear fog lights as the third package I bought is intended for the front hood. I am quite satisfied as I feel there is more quietness in the cabin and the sound, which is clearly audible, seems to have a lower frequency. When I finish the front hood, I will come back as I have also taken some standard measurements in dB. If there is time and willingness, I think it's worth doing.

Specifically, I installed it in an Audi tt 2001 on the roof, hood, trunk floor, and around the spare tire, driver and passenger doors, rear side panels, and seats. I needed about 10 packs to fully cover the upper surfaces, so for sedans or larger cars, calculate more material (there is also a calculator on the company's website). It is very easy to cut to the desired dimensions and also sticks easily to clean surfaces without much effort. I have seen a difference of about 10% to 15% with 1 kit of 8 in a Fiat Punto MK2. Yes, it does something, but not miracles. Get 2 kits if you have the appetite for work only, because I believe it needs to be applied on metal to eliminate creaking sounds and cover a large surface area for real results. So, we're talking about a big project and removing doors and carpet, not just a quick fix. That's why it's better to work with 2 kits if you have an idea of your space, to get the job done more efficiently. Overall, it has improved the interior ambiance of my 20-year-old car. 2 plates per passenger seat, but there are still some uncovered areas. It also works for doors, but I preferred Isolfon Foam 15mm because I had space and I want to pass the doors through a soundproofing material. It adds some weight, but I'm not going for races. The plates come with a sticky surface that loves cleanliness and sticks well with minimal heating. There is great flexibility, they can be adjusted to fit anything if you have some skills, but be careful not to tear the aluminum in multiple places because it is the sound reflector. Don't be afraid to measure and cut it to your desired size for fillings, it is easily cut with regular scissors. I give it 4 stars for the very attractive price and moderate results. I don't give it 3 stars because I haven't filled the entire space to judge properly. It is a commendable product.
