I come from the Redmi Note 9 Pro 6/128 that I bought in 2020. Clearly faster the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. At 345 the 12/512 is a very honest choice compared to the rest of the market at the moment. Samsung lens takes very nice photos, 1.5K screen very good clarity and integrated fingerprint which is fast and reliable, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It has a 67W charger in the package and charging cable, the phone charges quickly! And it also comes with a black silicone case that does not yellow over time, which is thin and does not add extra bulk to the phone. For the 2024 model it is very worth it, it is VFM !!
I don't know, maybe I got a defective product, because in the second week of use it suddenly got stuck and kept restarting continuously (40-50 times). It would turn on and every 20-30 seconds it would restart again, until I called the seller to tell me that I had to do a wipe data to restore the phone to factory settings and inevitably lose all the files I had transferred to the new phone without having them saved in the cloud (unfortunately for me).
The wipe was done, the phone returned to normal, but the next day the same problem occurred again, with the restarts, but fortunately it resolved on its own.
Now I am waiting to see what will happen next...
UI, speed, feel: For a budget phone, it generally does what it promises. The transitions between apps are smooth, without significant issues or freezes. The phone was truly at its best with the MIUI it came with out of the box; HyperOS 1.0 was more of a downgrade than an upgrade, as it hid/removed settings and overall reduced speed. Fortunately, with HyperOS 2.0.3.0, things seem to be heading in the right direction, and the device is once again quite smooth and fluid in navigation. Regarding ads, there are easy ways to cut them out, mainly by using a private DNS server and disabling the msa system app. However, system apps are certainly not the strong point of the phone, but then again, Xiaomi has always had issues with bloatware.
Photos: The 200MP camera surprises you with its quality for a model at this price. Daytime photos are good, very good; the Samsung sensor does an amazing job. Indoor photos could be improved; they appear quite soft and with a warmer tone than I would personally prefer. Fortunately, this is something that can be easily solved with Gcam, which has significantly improved auto white balancing. Don't use the 200MP mode; it's not worth it, as it has a lot of noise and the dynamic range doesn't say much. It's more of a marketing gimmick. Otherwise, the 2x zoom is very good, the 4x has a bit of noise but is generally acceptable, the ultrawide camera is quite mediocre, and the macro is okay in good lighting conditions but that's about it. The night sight again pleasantly surprises as it takes very decent photos automatically, better than those with Google Cam. The selfie camera is generally decent, although the colors are somewhat pale, which can be corrected, of course. The camera of the Redmi compared to that of the Poco X6, although they are almost the same device, is literally night and day in terms of quality, heavily favoring the Redmi.
Video: The device supports 4k at 30 fps (yes, I would also like it at 60 fps, and it is definitely a minus), and within these limits, it does its job relatively well. The details are as they should be, the colors are accurate, and there is zero noise. The contrast could be better. In low light conditions, there is noticeable noise in the shadows, but okay, personally, I wasn't expecting miracles in this area.
Gaming: There is absolutely no issue with simple games. In 3D games like Genshin Impact, CoD, Diablo Immortal, etc., the device inevitably heats up after half an hour, reaching temperatures of 41-42 degrees, making the touch start to become uncomfortable (but not unbearable). The only solution in these cases is to buy a cooling pad for the back (there are many on Skroutz that you can choose from, and they really do work), which, of course, is not only relevant to this specific device but also to flagship models when we talk about demanding games.
Battery: Since I read many complaints in general, I honestly try to understand how they have arisen. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G can achieve 10 to 11 hours of screen on time (measured in various scenarios and with different apps), without gaming, or about one day, at the end of which it will need a charge. With 5G constantly on, Bluetooth constantly on except during sleep hours, 7-8 hours of Wi-Fi, brightness locked in the middle, balanced battery mode, recommended refresh rate, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning turned off except when I need increased accuracy in GPS, NFC only on when making payments. The usage included calls, messages/emails/chats, surfing, social media, YouTube videos, mobile banking, generally what an average person does. Along with gaming performance mode, this statistic drops to about 8 and a half hours or even lower depending on other usage. Ok, it’s not going to win any awards for battery management but it operates at quite acceptable levels, especially considering it charges incredibly fast.
In conclusion, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is a very good device that won't disappoint anyone who approaches its purchase with realistic expectations. It doesn't do everything perfectly, obviously there are shortcomings (hence the 4 stars) but in the overall picture, it delivers what you pay for, which for me personally is the most important thing.
The battery in 10 minutes, from 10% goes to 50%.
Activate the "pause app activity"... in any apps that are not needed for startup.
The battery generally performs well... it also depends on the user.
The phone is not an iPhone... it is a Xiaomi.

The worst phone I have ever had, since 1994. From the 1st to the 3rd minute, it mutes all calls for 10". The wallet doesn't work. It can't make video calls over wi-fi, only with 5G. The battery drains in 12 hours. I took it to infoquest 2 times, they refused to exchange it and only did an upgrade. It's trash
It is the best in its category, (512 GB ram 12 GB) very fast with heavy usage the battery lasts comfortably from 100% to 20% for over 20 hours and its charging takes about 40 minutes, as for the photos and videos they reach perfection!!

I have owned the phone for 8 months, at first it was good I could say, with some freezes sometimes though. During this time the phone has frozen 2 times and I couldn't even restart it. I had the Samsung A23 5g but it was a bit slow and didn't have such a good camera. I decided to replace it with the Xiaomi Redmi 13 pro 5g.
Its positives are that it is fast with a nice screen and camera. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the battery. It drains very quickly and I am not a very demanding user. I am not always with the phone in hand and I don't play games either.
I noticed that even in standby mode without using it, the battery drains.
Recently it received the new Hyper OS software and I believe that this is the issue. I hope they fix it with some update because the battery drains very quickly.

I've been a user for almost 2 months and I haven't found anything negative; the phone is amazing... Those who write negative comments might have experienced some issues with an older update. Beautiful, does everything perfectly, perfect photos, super fast charging but unfortunately the battery doesn't last very long for me. Comparison with the previous Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro which had a longer-lasting battery.

If you don't want to read the negative comments, then don't read them at all. It's no coincidence that all the negative comments say the same thing, though.
I handle mobile phones quite often, having tried many Androids. This one? A complete failure!
The only positives are the camera and screen resolution, the photo quality, and the speakers. All of this considering its price, of course.
As for the negatives, where do I even start? It's slow, it claims to have 12GB of RAM but compares to phones that have 6GB. My Xiaomi earbuds disconnect, while they had no such problem with other phones. The software is generally very mediocre, many system apps are bad (some even have ads!!!), so I had to download others for my convenience (e.g., music, files). Finally, it can't multitask. For example, if I open Instagram and a browser at the same time, the phone is slow and when I switch from one app to another, it takes a few seconds to respond.
In between, I would rate the video recording, which, although decent for its price, the terrible microphone makes the phone useless if you want video with sound.
In conclusion, with a very quick search, you can find at least 5 better phones at a similar or even lower price. Pure disappointment!
Excellent phone, extremely fast response in every function. Its camera is the most high-quality I have seen. A big plus is the very fast charging.
I bought the 8/256 in January 2024! From the moment I got it, I haven't needed to restart it even once! It's flawless and doesn't lag at all!!! I also tried it on some games to see gaming performance. From that perspective, the phone doesn't lag at all when playing games. The only downside that might occur when playing heavy games is that it overheats a bit, but that's reasonable since all phones get warm when playing games!!!! As for the software, when I got it in my hands, it had MIUI14/Android13!!! So I used it for several months until I discovered a trick to upgrade from MIUI to HyperOS: Go to settings = Additional settings = And change the region to "San Marino," this won't change the language or affect anything! Once you go to update, it shows you the new software!!! *This works on other Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phones too!!!* Now regarding the cameras! Generally, it takes very beautiful photos with its 200MP lens!!! *I have attached a photo below* The videos are amazing with the nice mode it has for stabilization!!! Also, its battery is incredible, lasting almost two days without charging, and the 67W charger charges the phone in just a few minutes. Its speakers are mesmerizing since they have Dolby Atmos, and the sound is reproduced from both the top and bottom of the phone. The phone will continue to receive software updates for the next 4 years!!! It's amazing for both light and heavier use like gaming!!!! It's a fantastic mid-range and worth the money!!!
I bought it on August 12, I was on vacation in the mountains and it got very hot so I turned it off. With speech and photo usage, nothing more, it was heating up a lot. The store where I bought it sent me to service [Taurus area] shortly before the month. Just before the 2 months after an overnight charge, it warped. The company is asking me for 80 euros for repair... very poor service. This is the last time I deal with the company and the heavily advertised store.
I don't like the signal it generally picks up, the camera is okay compared to others but I expected more because that's why I got it, you can't call it a fast phone and it has a ton of ads
