This review is from a person who used to have a red mi Note 9 pro. I recently got this phone and so far I feel it is faster than my old phone, which is expected considering we are talking about a phone with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. My old phone had 6 GB of RAM with 64 GB of storage, but it could run demanding applications like Fortnite, although it struggled a bit, and recently the battery level started to drop faster, but this is something that is usually noticed in a phone after many uses. Now regarding the Samsung, I think that in terms of speed and responsiveness in running applications it is better than my old phone. For those wondering, this phone can also support the installation of demanding games like Fortnite; I personally tried it and had a very nice gameplay experience. The sound of the speaker seems good to me, but I can't say for sure if it is better or worse than the Xiaomi speaker, mainly because I use headphones more. Now pay a little attention, because there are quite a few people here commenting that the phone is generally slow and lags while typing, and that it overheats after prolonged use and that its battery drains quickly. Although most of these reviews were made for similar devices with less RAM (usually 6 GB) and less storage (usually 128 GB), it should be noted that the Samsung A25 5G from the factory settings is programmed to use only 4 out of the 6 (or 8) GB of RAM that the phone has in total from its manufacturing, which is very little for someone who would like to have a good phone to play demanding games like Fortnite or to use the device for long periods on social media like TikTok, Instagram, Messenger, and so on. I didn't know this at first either; I just read the comments and saw someone mention it. So make sure before using the phone for such tasks, to first check the device settings, type memory or RAM in the search bar, click on the first result you find with memory, and from there you will be able to change it. If you skip this process, then it is very likely that your phone will experience some lag in response, overheat, or even run out of battery very quickly. Personally, the only negative thing I find about this device is that it has only one slot for a SIM card. So if someone has two different phone numbers (Vodafone and Cosmote for example) and wants to use both, they will necessarily have to use a different device for the other number. Another thing that bothered me is that the package that came with the phone did not include a charger and silicone case as is the case with other models, e.g., Xiaomi or Huawei. It only had a type C to type C cable which you use to transfer data from your old device to the new one and possibly to charge the device if you connect it to a tablet or a computer or any other source of electrical power that has type C ports. Anyway, you won't be able to use the aforementioned cable to plug it directly into a socket because they have USB ports and not type c. Therefore, if you still have your old charger and its cable is USB-type c, then don't throw it away because you will need it! Anyway, I haven't seen anyone comment on the case and charger as a disadvantage for the phone, so I assume that for most models or at least for Samsung, this is something typical and common. That's all I had to say...
Review update 10/11/2024:
I actually made a mistake about the sim card, it can take a second one, but then you won't be able to attach an sd card because the slot will be occupied by the second sim. In some phones, it is possible to put a sim card in the sd slot instead of an sd card, something I didn't know until today when I researched it. As soon as I got the phone, I immediately put a Samsung sd for file and photo storage in the slot it had for placement, so that's why I couldn't put a second sim card.
Review update 18/11/2024:
I discovered today that the CPU, meaning the phone's processor, has a functionality limit of 70% for energy-saving reasons. For optimal performance of the phone, it is recommended to disable this setting. Just go to settings, type CPU in the search bar, and then where it says "CPU functionality limit at 70%" toggle the switch to disable it. I also disabled the setting for reducing brightness by 10% that was in the same settings list as the CPU.
I bought the phone since I had an old Samsung model and unfortunately, everything said in the reviews is true. The phone overheats to an extreme degree (43-45 degrees), resulting in me initially exchanging it for a new device. And the new one that arrived had the same issues but at a slightly lower temperature (36-38 degrees), even without opening many applications for use. Also, the battery drains incredibly fast, max 6-8 hours a day if you use it for work. Very good camera and video quality, but unfortunately, it will disappoint you...
Powerful phone for its price, fast and good size (not a brick). The only downside is the battery discharge time, it's a bit weaker than other models, it drops faster. Overall, a commendable phone for those who want something affordable.
I received it as a gift from my work, it's a midrange phone that takes good photos, good video, good screen, but what disappointed me is its low processor and small battery, it lags on YouTube, Facebook, and a simple game, but for €180 it's worth it
The only good thing about this phone is the sound quality (better than S23, Xiaomi Pad 6, and iPhone 16 Plus) even at high volumes. Other than that, for the 6/128 version, the music stutters when switching from Spotify to another app. The screen is satisfactory since it's a classic Samsung Super AMOLED, but what can you do... It's also quite slow in everything. I think the Samsung A33 I had was slightly faster, and it's a 5-year-old phone if I'm not mistaken. The camera is relatively satisfactory, and the blue color is very nice. The fingerprint sensor is super even though it's on the side. That's it.
Worse than dead.... I've had it in my hands for almost 7 months, bought from a store via Skroutz... the only positives are the battery and the relatively good camera.... negatives are all the other issues, too many to write, it drains my soul but I press it and it writes... to catch a signal, I apply in a spot where others have full signal with the same company, this one doesn't even show a bar and finally, the sound is desperately awful... this is Samsung... to have a decent phone, you have to spend a lot of money.... despair.....
Very bad. With a budget of 500 - prefer a Chinese one. The worst are Samsung below the S series. If I'm going to spend 900+ for the S series, I might as well go for an iPhone.

Stay away, it's the worst, slow, it was freezing from the first day. In less than 6 months the microphone stopped working! Worse than a phone with a decade-old software. Thrown away money! It’s not worth even the 1 star I gave.
It is a satisfactory device to which I have no complaints to add. I don't use it extensively for photos, so I don't have a well-founded opinion on that. In other respects, the device doesn't lag, works well, and has a good screen and speaker. I recommend it
Excellent screen, good camera (the A71 had noticeably better comparison), quite good battery life (lasted a year), excellent performance (does not lag in any app - I don't play games).
After using Xiaomi phones for several years, I decided to buy this phone as it was on sale. Although I believe that with a little more money I could acquire an even better phone, this one has completely satisfied me for its price.
Its performance is generally good, with the only minor observation being slight overheating after prolonged use. Nevertheless, it is not something that affects me, as the temperature does not reach uncomfortable levels. The video recording is satisfactory, and although there is a minimal delay in taking photos, this happens rarely and does not affect my daily use.
Also, the customization and multitasking work seamlessly, without delays or freezes. I use it daily for note management and various tasks, and so far I have not encountered any problems.
Overall, for the money I spent, the phone offers an experience close to that of a more expensive model and has fully met my needs.
This model is unacceptable in every way. I bought it 5 months ago, and from the beginning: it distorts the music and at the same time has vibrations that if you put it in a pot it will bounce, it distorts the colors, one color is the natural one and another is what it shows you, the screen freezes, you press one letter and it shows you another, it needs to be restarted very often and lately it doesn't charge. A very problematic model. The saga with Samsung continues, which has started and has no end.
I bought it on 28/7 - from the first moment it had a problem with the ALARM which I happen to use a lot. Now it's useless. Samsung has caused me immense trouble even though I have repeatedly sent them screenshots clearly showing the problem. I still haven't gotten anywhere. Aside from that, it's not a user-friendly phone. I regret this purchase.

In idle state, it is cool. However, during use, especially when watching videos, it overheats to the point that my fingertips become uncomfortable. If you touch the screen with your palm, you realize how hot it has gotten. Disappointing! I have never experienced this with any other phone. The brightness of the screen is excellent
Samsung... never again. I bought this specific phone (brand new) and it never worked / turned on. I sent it to a Samsung technical support center (XIROUHAKIS ATHANASIOS (INTRATEL) and after 2 weeks, after I called, they informed me that they are changing the problematic board and the connector of the brand new phone. I still haven't received anything... The problem would have been solved if they had immediately sent a new phone or a refund (after identifying the issues). The cherry on top: The shipping costs for sending the phone back and forth (around 30 euros) were charged to me!
I just received it and put it to charge, it was very well packaged and I liked that this box had no scratches. I believe that for someone who doesn't want something very expensive like an iPhone or the S24 Ultra, for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it is very good. I want it for my son who plays games like Roblox and Brawl Stars. Very good for gaming overall, I recommend it!!
I'm writing just to warn some people from wasting their money buying this device. Purchase on 16/5/25 from Vodafone. After exactly 1 month, it wouldn't charge. Returned to the authorized Samsung service center in Haidari for repair. Exactly 15 days later, the same issues. Replacement with a new device. Exactly one month later, guess what, it doesn't charge. Never again Samsung, it does make a good coaster though...
I have been using this phone as my main device for 24 days. I bought it for €210, which is quite good compared to major chains in the country that sell it for up to €300. It is a budget smartphone, decent and fast.
With 6GB of RAM, apps run quickly, but if it gets full, performance drops. Its Exynos 1280 Samsung CPU runs at 2.8GHz and performs quite well for 1080p video, less so for 4K, and is fine for social media, browsing, and gaming with both normal and demanding games. The sound is quite good as a dual stereo (it has 2 speakers on the top and bottom) with good sound quality. It also comes with the classic 3.5mm jack on the bottom of the phone, which is essential for me as a music lover.
The battery, although it lasts for 1 day, has not shown any issues so far. At 5000mAh, with a 25W charger (not from Samsung) and a full charge in 1 hour and 22 minutes, it gives me 1 day. Depending on the type of usage, it will have corresponding consumption. However, it won't blow you away, as many have mentioned here. It is a normal battery.
Graphics are quite good, I would say, although higher quality requires more CPU consumption. It is performing well so far; I have left it at the settings it came with out of the box, and I don't think I will change them.
The screen is bright and has beautiful vivid colors, although at full brightness, it starts to fade a bit. At 120Hz, it gives a much better feel than the classic 60Hz.
Camera-wise, with 50MP on the back and 18MP on the front, I wasn't disappointed, but it could be better. The video is in 4K at 30fps while you have 60fps at 1080p. Sometimes it takes a photo from the selfie camera at 12MP, while if I switch to full on the back camera, it is always at 50MP.
Storage is at 128GB ROM, with the option to expand via micro SD. This is also convenient for someone like me, who transferred files from the old phone to the new one. Also, I have all my photos and videos there.
The signal depends on where you live; it is good, and on 5G, the only downside is the high data consumption compared to 4G, as well as battery consumption. If you want fast internet, obviously, you will leave it on 5G.
It supports Wi-Fi 5 with high speeds (350mbps +).
Overall, it is a beautiful phone but has a problem with battery consumption, as well as the fact that space fills up relatively quickly due to updates.

Update (21/09) after one and a half months, the only problem I am facing is that it loses its Wi-Fi signal, resulting in no access to the network (it shows that it has full Wi-Fi signal but for some unknown reason it does not connect or freezes while browsing). The next issue is the failure to recognize the fingerprint, but due to the thick case I have had since day one, it prevents it from recognizing my thumb or index finger.
Second Update (10/10) two months later, the phone is flying! And one more thing to add, be very careful and put a screen protector and a case with 100% camera protection!
A major disadvantage is the signal for me. The battery in no way lasts as long as it should. It barely makes it through the day if you talk a little more and have everything open (location, internet, etc.). As a former owner of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12, I had to get the A25 to work with the health of the Watch 5 Pro, and I am completely disappointed with the A25 compared to my previous phone. The fingerprint sensor requires a lot of effort to get it to work. The screen is good, although at 120Hz the battery drains quickly. The photos are decent for its category. The sound is good. It doesn't come with a charger, just a cable. The charging isn't as fast as I would like. If you definitely want a Samsung, spend a little more money.
Good evening. I give 4 stars because the battery runs out very quickly during the day and combined with the 25W, the charging time is negligible. Overall, it is a good choice.
For its price category, it is the most value for money! I have had iPhones, Huaweis, with the latest being the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro, which started having problems from the first week and drove me crazy! The screen is wonderful; I personally don't even have the setting at 120Hz... It runs smoothly. It definitely needs a good cleanup from bloatware like all Samsung devices at first. The battery lasts more than a day with heavy use (not gaming) and with some restrictions on apps. The photos are quite decent. Especially from the selfie camera, I didn't expect it to be that good. For those who find it overheating, make sure to set the RAM expansion to 6GB because straight out of the box, it is limited to 4/6GB. After that, it will be perfect

Quite mediocre to bad mobile phone. I have it for 4 months and it freezes quite often for a new one. The device, as many people mention, overheats easily. The battery may be 5000mah but barely lasts a day with one charge. It dies easily in a few words. I would advise you to look for another model because this one is not worth its money
Although there are better options for the money, I find this one very honest, there is no problem with its performance and it generally does not lag. It is good for games but not for heavy ones like Fortnite, I tried it and even though I was getting 25-30 fps, the phone was overheating. It generally heats up easily, even on TikTok you may notice it or if you have Bluetooth headphones connected. That was the only downside I found. The camera and screen are very honest
Don't buy it, Horizon doesn't send it with a warranty receipt, nor a paper in the package, nor an email. Additionally, it arrived in poor condition, the delivery box

I give it 1 star because it doesn't have Bixby, it takes a long time to get updates, and it heats up easily. At least mine does, I don't know about the others, but I've had it for a week and today I took it to services and it doesn't have good video resolution

I don't have much to say about the phone. Its primary use for multimedia and calling does everything it promises very well. Additionally, the model has a headphone jack, 6 GB of RAM for memory expansion, battery protection from overcharging, and it doesn't have a radio. I was torn between this and the Motorola g84 5g at the same price but with better features, however, I was won over by the fact that Samsung guarantees software updates for five years. The only negatives I noticed are that the processor heats up quite a bit with high-resolution videos, I imagine more so with games. So it probably isn't suitable for gaming. And the second is that it is a heavy phone, about 200g without a case. If you don't care much about photos and change your phone every 2 years, I recommend the Moto g84 which is superior in many ways.
Update: After several months of use, unfortunately, I do not recommend it. It freezes quite a bit, the battery doesn't last even a day. It might be the worst phone I've ever had compared to some other Chinese ones.
It concerns the 8GB 256GB at 244 euros. Well, I have had many phones in my hands and I have to say that it has nothing to envy from phones that cost 500 or 600 euros. I bought it as a second phone, but I could easily have it as my first.
Very good construction, although it is plastic, it is sturdy, fast, very bright screen, decent stereo sound, very good photos, and it even has face recognition.
The battery with normal use is at 40% in the evening. It also has very good signal.
The only thing I didn't like at all was that at the start of the device, in order to proceed with the setup, it requires you to be connected to Wi-Fi, otherwise it doesn't let you proceed with the setup. Samsung is very strict about this.
A good phone for the money but definitely if you have more to spend, go easily for the A35 or A55 which are a class better than this phone, in general we had no problems using the device except for some small frame drops or freezes.
