Because I was charging with USB-C the laptop, the phone, and this device, the charging ports of the phone and laptop got moisture and needed repairs. I got the Luxe XR Max after seeing & reading a lot, and because it is beautiful in my eyes, without many LEDs, but also not just with one (like the Mini).
The device exudes a sense of prestige, sturdiness, it feels very high quality and has weight (due to the large battery) that makes you feel like you are holding something good.
In blue color, it is beautiful, and it matches very well with the colors of the LEDs.I use the 0.2ohm resistance and the DTL pod from the package, at 55W which it sets automatically. I have the airflow fully open, or in the middle, and it provides a very nice airy puff, full of flavor, without being warm (I don't like it warm, nor having a throat hit). Very nice vaping experience. However, it can also become tight by closing the airflow, or even more if you turn the pod differently.
Also, as I use it (or if you close the airflow), it produces A LOT of vapor, which I enjoy.There has been NO leakage for DAYS.
The battery holds up well; after a full charge yesterday, I took about 140 puffs yesterday, 80 today, and now it's at 45%. (55W is not a small amount, so this is good!)
If there is one negative, it is that it does not have automatic puffing, but again, this is not a problem at all. Maybe another one is that it doesn't have a lock, but if you want to put it in your pocket or bag for a while, you can just turn it off if needed.
I have a very small suspicion that it has relatively high consumption (at least compared to the Xros 3 Mini), but we will see over time...

I got the pod from someone because it didn't suit them; I have no problem with it. Very good construction, sturdy, lightweight, convenient, powerful with a 0.4 DTL pod and a 1.2 MTL tank. The flavor is perfect on the puff, but in MTL it's a bit more airy and tight. However, if you turn the pod upside down, you can close the airflow, and you can also close the left hole if you want it super tight. For me personally, it's perfect in terms of durability and battery life; I don't know yet because I just received it. Excellent as a pod kit, better than many mod kits due to battery and pod capacity, especially since you can have resistance from 0.2Ω to 1.2Ω. In the package I received, it included the kit with one pod for DL vaping (instead of two that I saw in the videos and is also shown on Skroutz), two resistances (0.2Ω and 0.4Ω), and a very small charging cable. It is very important that it is compatible with all the pods of the Luxe series and with the GTX resistances that have been around for quite a few years; they are excellent in performance and reliability and - mainly - you can find them everywhere because they work for many models. I should note here that there are both RDL and MTL pods on the market, which combined with the right resistance, perform exactly as you want. For me personally, it's 4/5, but I must mention some negatives:
- Unfortunately, the liquid refill is done from the bottom, again with silicone. Fortunately, there are no leaks at all (Be careful when attaching the resistance). If it lights up red, meaning it does not recognize the pod, clean the poles with a dry cloth and all is well.
- Unfortunately, during the resistance change, it drips normally, which is a shame.
- It does not have a lock. However, it has a protection that if the fire button is held down for 10 seconds, it completely shuts off the pod and, additionally, it is anyway difficult to change the watts by itself as it can only be done through the short menu it has, so it might be unnecessary.
- After the first puffs, perhaps even before the first ml, the liquid level is not visible (the pod looks empty) and you have to keep turning the device upside down.
- There is no indication of the resistance in ohms on the screen. This is a small problem if you have more than one pod with different resistances, so you essentially have to guess from the automatic reading of the resistance. This is a very important function since in practice you cannot burn the resistance by exceeding the recommended watts if you do not have Smart Mode activated. EDIT: It shows you the resistance in ohms when you attach the pod. You do not have the indication on the screen, but you see it by putting in and taking out the pod.
- There is no automatic puff, for those who are used to it in other pods.
- As the watts increase, the noise also increases; it is generally noisy from 30-40W and above.
- The battery percentage displayed on the screen is not reliable. In mine, from 100%, it dropped directly to 86% after quite a while of use and then to 75% without intermediate indications. Also, the remaining charging time displayed when I charge it is much shorter than what it will actually take.
- Personally, I did not see what Vaporesso claims, that the intensity of the puff changes if you attach the pod by rotating it 180 degrees, perhaps because I am using it at 16W.
I should also note that if you do not need such a large battery or do not deal with watts, take a look at the Luxe XR and Luxe X2 as (a) they accept the same 5ml pods so you are covered and (b) because this (the Max) is thick and heavy. For me, with the RDL pod and 0.8Ω resistance, it produces about 13-14ml. Owner for 3 months now and I have to say only the best, 10 years with electronic from the times of the first nautilus Doggystyle kaifun etc always in a tight draw towards smoking.
It comes with the rdl pod (pulmonary) and there is also the mtl which has one hole instead of 4, its cost is 3 euros as well as the cost of the resistance at 3.
There is a wide range of resistances 0.2 0.4 0.6 0.8 1.2 they are all mesh and there is also a regular 1.2 like the old ones, of course the mesh is top so there is no need to even remember the old ones.
The mtl pod takes resistance from 0.6 to 1.2 to have smooth operation without drowning in liquid and boiling and has no issues with liquids that have higher pg content (I use Tribeca 50-50 at 0.6 and it's just perfect).
Now in terms of flavor, the top ones are 0.8 and 0.6 without excessive liquid consumption, I prefer the 0.6 it gives me a click better in taste and it's a click more satisfying in the air for me, for those who really want a tight draw they go straight to the 1.2, it has a very good flavor but the draw is too tight.
The rdl pod is also great for sweet and fruity liquids, I find the 0.4 a little better in terms of liquid consumption and flavor, but that's also a matter of personal preference.
It lasts several more hours than the classic ones with the 18650 battery, I use the 0.6 and I consume 10ml of liquid per day from 7 in the morning until 1 at night and I have 40% remaining, so don't be afraid if you do pulmonary with a lower resistance, you'll easily get through the day.
What I like the most, since I used to use rebuildables, is that you have a second pod with a resistance that costs 3 euros, you throw away another liquid, carry it with you, no leaks, just click and everything is ready and easy, no need to wash or change cotton or have any lingering flavors.
I consider it the most complete option available for this moment, from battery size to resistance options, there is no competition

Excellent pod. I use it exclusively for MTL and I am completely satisfied. I have the airflow completely closed because it has another hole on the other side that does not close and the air intake is just right for the pod to function properly. Absolutely no leakage, 5ml capacity which is enough for me for the day, adjustable wattage which helps a lot but also a smart mode that recognizes the resistance on its own and adjusts the wattage. The mesh gtx coils are amazing, I use the 1.2 and sometimes the 0.8 but whether because they are mesh or because they are very good on their own, they last a long time before burning and in between I have no burnt hits. With the voopoo PnP coils, I constantly had this problem and they burned very quickly. The battery in MTL mode lasts me about 2 days, which is about 10ml of liquid. I chose the one with the leather on the back and I think I made a very good choice! It can handle all the resistances of the series very well, but the best part is the wattage adjustment! The gtx go 80 cannot adjust the wattage (it always operates at standard wattage), so the vapor temperature is too high for my taste. For example, it works the 0.2 resistance at 55 watts, while for me the suitable range is 45 to 50! This is a big positive!!! In terms of size, it is like a gtx go 40, which has consumed the battery of the gtx go 80!!!! Very convenient!!! There are no leakage issues with the resistances. The vapor is rich and very flavorful, in the category of rebuildable atomizers! That's why I have so many devices with the same resistances!!! I have had it since April and I have to say the following:
The best mod on the market by far, even with a 50/50 liquid it does not leak at all when the temperature rises from prolonged use or in high temperatures during the summer, unlike many others in its category. As for 60/40 or 70/30 liquids, there is no discussion about leakage (all of this using resistances from 0.1 to 0.8).
The 5ml tank is extremely satisfying, ideal flavor if you change the resistance whenever needed (i.e., every ten days, which is the lifespan of the cotton in the resistance).
The airflow is the only one I use, with a 0.6 resistance, while with other mods I had to use 0.2 to get the same coverage.
Visually flawless, be careful if it falls down as it will scratch, and if you get it in a different color other than silver, its appearance will definitely deteriorate in the future.
The battery, after 6 months of using it with 5-7ml per day, sometimes at 55w and sometimes at 28w, lasts for 3 days, and charging from 10% to 100% takes 46 minutes if you have a fast charger, which is extremely fast in my opinion.
The menu is quite beautiful and useful (especially the smart option), and the visuals on the screen make it even more attractive.
Resistances cost around 2.5-3 euros, and perhaps the only negative point is that the resistances it takes are not available everywhere.5/5 from me, and the competition barely gets a 2.5
