The body produces 5-HTP from tryptophan, which is then converted in the brain into the neurotransmitter serotonin.

The 5-HTP contained in this product is of natural origin and specifically comes from the seeds of the African plant Griffonia simplicifolia. The extract from this plant is one of the most widely used 5-HTP supplements worldwide and is particularly popular among health professionals in the USA.

  • Tableted with: Calcium Carbonate, Titrated Extract of Griffonia Seeds (Griffonia simplicifolia), Anti-caking Agents (Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid & Magnesium Stearate), Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Glycerol).

Usage

  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
  • Assimilation time: Less than 1 hour.
  • Dosage: Up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour before meals or half an hour before bedtime. Start with one tablet and increase if necessary. The product is best taken for periods of up to 3 months. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
