Anti-skid snow chains are placed on the drive wheels of the car, enhancing traction on the road when it is covered with snow and ice. Their installation is relatively easy, but it is necessary to have tried them beforehand to be familiar with the process.

An important criterion in choosing snow chains is the compatible size of our tire as well as the diameter (thickness) of the chain we will choose. Usually, chains with a thickness of 12mm and above offer more effective traction and better penetration into the snow compared to thinner chains. Their installation is not recommended for lowered passenger vehicles or vehicles with low-profile tires.
