What can I say... Two stars because the first switch I got didn't work after 3 days, only the double click did. They replaced the switch from Skroutz and after 3.5 months, exactly the same problem again. It doesn't work at all, only the double click. I tried everything. Reset, battery change, putting it next to the hub to recreate the commands... nothing. And the strangest thing is that the double click works normally while the others do not. I don't know if it's a software or hardware issue, but it's inconceivable for the same product to have exactly the same problem. ?♂️
I bought 3 of them to start building a smarter home. I haven't fully utilized them yet, as they have 6-7 programmable functions in Home Assistant (single, double, triple, quadruple, quintuple, and frenzy tap - if I remember correctly, and Long press - programmable both pressing and releasing the switch). I combined it with the https://www.skroutz.gr/s/38507981/Sonoff-ZBdongle-E-Smart-Hub-Symvato-me-Alexa-Google-Home-Mayro.html and it works incredibly well. (the dongle needs a firmware update for the switch to work properly). With a nice refurbished nuc from ebay, I have set up a nice server and everything is going well. The switch is extremely good value for money.
Direct connection to Home Assistant via a Sonoff USB Zigbee (https://www.skroutz.gr/s/38507981/Sonoff-ZBdongle-E-Smart-Hub-Symvato-me-Alexa-Google-Home-Mayro.html). I haven't connected it to Xiaomi's hub, but through Zigbee it offers 6 different ways of control in HA (single, double, triple, quadruple, quintuple, and multiple press with long hold). Depending on your scenarios, with just one you can control up to 6 different devices or scenarios!
Classic Xiaomi button has never let me down! It works on both European and Chinese servers (very important) and it is compatible with all mi home hubs (I have 3 and it connects to all of them). It is quick in response. It has a total of 3 functions: Click, double click, and long press.
My first one, I bought it in 2016 and until today (07/2023) its battery has not run out...
The design is minimal and very beautiful, just the way I want it for my space.
If I add them all up, I might have a total of 6 scattered around the house for various functions.
I have tried it on Google home without success yet.
I bought two Xiaomi switches at the best market price. The product works perfectly.
To help those who have an issue with the application. By setting the language to German in the application, you can create automation scenes.
A small issue that will be fixed in the future.
Perfect... I would say if I could work it on something. Unfortunately, the Xiaomi application has not been working for quite some time, resulting in most of the products with automations being useless.
The connection through Xiaomi Home is very easy. I have 4 inside the house and I have created various scenarios depending on the button press.
Small discreet and user-friendly, easy to install and adjust, you necessarily need to have the xiaomi hub for it to work. The 3 operating options it offers are convenient: Single click, Double Click, and Long press click, allowing you to assign different functions to each option.
Easy connection and installation. 3 functions for automations and scenes. The only downside is that the battery is difficult to change in the future when it runs out. At least that's the impression it gives.
Particularly user-friendly. The Hub is required for it to work. I see no reason why someone who wants to control their smart Xiaomi devices with an affordable switch wouldn't get it.
- Practical, lightweight
- Works with home-assistant (not as an entity but as a device with long-press & double --> triple events)
Although it was my own stupidity that I didn't read that it needs a hub, since I bought a hub as well, I have found it very useful.
I don't have a switch near the bed, only at the entrance of the room... I don't know how I managed without it all these years!!
You can control 3 lights with the correct settings through the app, which is absolutely perfect for not waking you up when it turns on.
Good and easy to connect, but xiaomi needs a better APP with more customization options for this particular product.
It hardly ever catches the first click. And the Gateway is right next to it.
*After a few days, it started working great! It has been about two months now and it works perfectly 99% of the time!
It's fine.
It works instantly and the feeling of the click is not bad.
It connects easily with Mi Home
Ideal for when you don't want to change switches, or when you want multiple things to happen together.
For example, I have one for the lights in the house (turn on, turn off) when I'm working, another for sleep mode, etc.
Flawless switch. Zero response time with the smart hub. It has a huge delay and sometimes fails to connect with HomeKit. I recommend automations in the Xiaomi application.
The sticker on the body of the switch instead of a base and the difficult opening for battery replacement are its only negatives
Very good WiFi switch with three adjustable touch functions through the Xiaomi app (Xiaomi home).
You can control all the smart automations of the smart home (as long as they are Xiaomi or Aquara) one by one or all together.
There must be a smart hub for it to work, without it, it cannot connect to the system
Excellent wireless switch XIAOMI for automations for the smart home convenience at all levels I recommend it! It's worth it!
Tremendous convenience to avoid opening your phone every time you want to flash a light. It also supports scenes. It requires a hub to work.
If you want to control a smart home (xiaomi) in a simple way, it is an ideal choice, essentially simplifying the routines you create. Very good value for money, I have bought a couple for future use
Very good for its price. I use it in an OpenHab automation system (on a Raspberry Pi). It is very useful that it recognizes up to 4 presses (it recognizes them as multiple if there are 5 or more). It also recognizes the duration of the press and gives you the time it was pressed after releasing the button. It also has a very fast response. Very good battery.
