The visor goes in and out very easily but ONLY IN THE TOP POSITION, I emphasize this so you don't accidentally mess it up. An extra dark visor is provided, but it's somewhat useless since it has the additional visor that goes up and down, which is also very good, large in surface area, and has height adjustments. There are definitely lighter ones, this one is somewhere in between heavy and light, but it's small and compact, and thanks to the excellent fit, you don't feel it as a weight.
