Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Quality construction, as Spigen has accustomed us to. In the car I installed it (Ford Fiesta '10), due to the slope of the CD player slot, it cannot be supported well. In another with a vertical front, it may be better supported. Convenient button for quick insertion and removal.
I was looking for a long time for a mount and this one really solved my problem. Very stable while driving, you can change the direction the phone is facing as well as change the orientation. The phone goes in and out easily, plus the mount looks very nice. On the downside, it wears out the foam pads on the outside of the CD and after 1.5 years of use, the mount broke. I will probably buy the same one again.
update
I bought the same one, and that one broke too. It's a shame because the mechanism that holds the phone is very good
Very good company with personal use of products for years. However, this particular one does not work as magsafe because it has a central magnet and not a circular one. It requires the placement of metal in the case, which cancels out wireless charging. I was forced to place the metal lower, resulting in the phone tipping over and falling relatively easily. Unfortunately, I do not recommend it.
Good construction, it looks like it will do the job it is intended for a long time, but not in a first generation Hyundai i10. The slot for the CD is relatively wide and the base does not hold well at all.
very easy to use and stable. the phone doesn't move from the base (poco f3). I wonder about some who say it keeps falling. they are definitely doing something wrong, it's not the magnet's fault
After a year, one of the three legs broke and got stuck inside the slot of the CD player. Its metal cuts easily
I have it for 3 years. Very stable, easy to put in and take out the mobile phone, it doesn't come off like other mounts that go into the air vents. Completely satisfied and now I will buy another one.
Don't even bother buying this. The magnet is not powerful enough so the phone can never stay in position. Totally pointless.
Apart from the magnet's strength, another positive is the ease and smoothness of rotating the phone without needing to loosen the clamp. Removing the phone from the base is as easy as it needs to be done without strong pulling, while it remains in place despite the car's vibrations.
I was looking for a base for a long time and I didn't like any. This one is perfect. It was installed in a Honda Jazz 2009 where the height of the CD is ideal for me. Be careful to place it between the station selection buttons so that the base doesn't press them continuously. TMS24 without the magnet mobile poco f3
Very careful! It creates a problem on the inner "lips" of the CD/DVD as it damages them due to the pressure it exerts. Under no circumstances should it be placed in a serious sound system. I put it in an RNS510 and I cry every time I look at it.
Very good base. It's worth its money. I drove 100km with a 20-year-old Toyota Corolla on a country road, with an average speed of 80km/h and also 300 meters on a dirt road and it didn't fall.
Sturdy construction (compared to various Chinese ones I have used over time), strong magnet, securely holds the phone even through the case. Small and discreet when the phone is not on it, not like other bulky ones. Average quality plastics (who cares). Fits well in the CD slot. Overall, Spigen products have not disappointed me.
Very good, the phone doesn't come off, even in puddles. The only issue is the vents, which may break.
Great base, incredibly stable even on dirt roads and with a relatively heavier mobile phone.
Stickers are also provided to "thicken" the component that enters the CD player in case the notch is larger in some cars.
Here you are!
In RCD 200 it fits perfectly and doesn't move at all! The phone doesn't detach from the magnet, especially if you use a Spigen case where they are black, the magnets obviously don't show.
Spigen with closed eyes!
Very good for its price. The construction materials are not something wow, but it hasn't had any issues after almost 5 months of daily use. The mechanism is very practical and functional. It has nothing to envy from other similar products that require power connection, etc.
+ Easy installation
+ Stability
+ Allows for clear visibility while driving
+ The button easily clicks on and off the base without much effort
+ Excellent value for money / Spigen products are a guarantee for anything related to smartphone gadgets
- In an Opel Insignia where the CD slot is relatively low, the hand may accidentally touch the button when shifting gears. However, by placing the button slightly higher on the base, there is no issue. (When trying to position the base slightly to the right to avoid touching my hand, the CD mechanism gets confused and the device makes the sound it makes when 'reading' the CD).
The best mount, fits in the CD player and works properly with the CD, in KIA CEED 2008 it took a little force to put it in at first because I was afraid but everything is fine. The mount is not going to come off by any means, it doesn't shake, the phone never falls, it doesn't take up much space and it's very convenient. It's worth it!
The best thing I have ever bought in terms of a base. Very stable, easy to install, without scratches or suction cups, etc.
Excellent mobile phone holder for the car! Out of all the ones I have tried, only this one offered me such support for my phone and also the security of the holder so that I don't have to worry about it falling! Excellent purchase!
It does not fit well on aftermarket RCD, resulting in it falling down, but also on the factory one that I tried, same thing happened. Additionally, if you tighten it too much, there is a chance of breaking the audio system frame.
It easily fits into the CD slot, with a little care to avoid leaving marks. While it seems to play a little, it doesn't come out of its position during bumps and potholes. The mobile phone holder is equally stable on the base.
In my car, the CD slot is above the central screen, so a large part of it is hidden when the phone is there, even without the phone, a small part of the screen is still hidden. But you have a clear view on the windshield.
The only concern is whether something will be affected in the long run and it won't read CDs.
The magnet is very strong, guys. For the phone to move from its place, it probably means that the shocks and the springs broke from the little hole that you need to hit.
Very good product, strong magnet, the phone does not move from its position and it is small in size.
As I have said before, Spigen is a guarantee.
The phone does not slip, good material, easy installation, perfect. It does the job it claims to do perfectly
If you have an Android screen, when you place the mobile on the base, it hides part of the screen... which is very bad if you use GPS, for example. It also creates the impression that the pressure on the CD slot could cause permanent distortion if left for many days. It can be supported on the air vent, but not as securely as on the CD. I chose it to avoid using the magnetic sticker on the phone.
I had broken 2 stands in 1 month and both were for ventilation.
With this specific one, I have been very satisfied for a month.
There are two issues. Firstly, in my car (yaris 03), the CD slot is relatively low, so when I change gears, my hand hits the phone and it falls off with the mount. Secondly, it is dangerous for driving because your gaze shifts from the straight road you're driving to looking down on the right at the phone, and you lose sight of the road. I believe that the mounts should be in line with your line of sight while driving.
Update 18/1/22: In the end, I threw it away. It kept falling off with the phone constantly, and it was dangerous when this happened while driving.
I have had it for just 2 weeks and I think that compared to other mounts, whether with a suction cup on the windshield or with attachment to the air vent, it seems to me the best choice for now and rightly I would say that it proves to be completely stable. In my car, I did not find anything negative regarding the accessibility and handling of the audio system, and even the mp3 CD that I constantly have inside continues to play without any problem.
Excellent choice! Stable, easy installation without obstructing the driver's field of vision... It rotates horizontally or vertically.
It is exactly what I was looking for in terms of appearance.
Small in size and very easy to install. The only thing that worried me is that on a road with small bumps, the base was quite loose.
The phone didn't fall off, but I had the feeling that in a good shake, I would have taken it in my hands.
At this price, however, I believe it is a worthy choice.
