A powerhouse in a quite small size. The 64 GB is sufficient for transferring data between my computer and mobile.

2023-02-19Expert userThis review is about size: 64 GB, colour: GrayI am referring to the ADATA UV350 64gb version (and not any other capacity as the hardware is not the same in all capacities). Formatting the USB stick to NTFS 32kb cluster (it comes formatted as fat32 but it is not convenient due to limitations such as file size). Tested on a 2019 laptop with Ryzen 5, Windows 11, SSD, USB 3.X.
- Sequential write = 18 mb/sec (approximately)
- Writing medium-sized mp3 file of 4mb (660mb in 54sec) = 12 mb/secThis is the average as it fluctuates (strongly) from 100 mb/sec to 0 mb/sec (stays at 0 for a few seconds and then reaches up to 100). With a stopwatch, copying a large Windows ISO file of approximately 5.6gb takes about 5:20:00. This fluctuation can be a bit annoying, but the effective write speed (18 mb/sec) is not bad for the price. For smaller files like mp3, it is 12 mb/sec with similar fluctuations (due to memory/controller/buffer, etc.).
- Continuous read = 71 mb/sec (approximately)
Again, it fluctuates but much smoother and stays at around 70 mb/sec (average with the stopwatch came out slightly higher at 72 mb/sec).
At room temperature of 19°C, it did not heat up much after several writes of multiple gigabytes. Lukewarm for now, considering it is winter.
Build quality. It looks good but it gets fingerprints (doesn't matter). It needs a small ring to attach it to your keys or directly to the keyring if it's not too big and you don't want to remove it from there.
Durability. I have no idea. For flash drives and SD cards, we always keep the receipt (it says 5 years) and have our files backed up elsewhere.Translated from Greek ·- Speed

In USB 3.0/3.1 ports that I have tried, I have managed to transfer a file that exceeds a few Mbytes, but with great difficulty and essentially it doesn't succeed, it slows down dramatically. It starts to read/copy a video file (1 - 2 Gb) and after 3-4 seconds it stops. At some point, it starts again and the same thing happens.. Useless, don't waste your money.

Quite fast and durable due to its metal casing. I have no complaints, especially considering its affordable price. It is used for backing up files and for movies on the TV. Its durability over time will show. If I were to use it permanently on a device, such as a car radio, I might choose something more expensive, but for simple use, it is just right.

In USB 3.0/3.1 ports that I have been trying for 2 days, I have not been able to transfer a file that exceeds a few Mbytes.... It starts to read/copy a video file (1 - 2 Gb) and after 3-4 seconds it stops. At some point, it starts again and the same thing happens..........at 20-30% of the transfer, the connection with the PC is completely lost! I can't understand what's wrong... It is compatible with older ports, so I probably got a defective one........ If it continues like this, it will probably end up in the trash.....
Update 1 (10/10/21): When I managed to play a movie on the TV, it worked fine.

Renewed review after using for a few months, what I noticed is that it has a sturdy construction and moderate to low speeds for large files with many interruptions in writing speed. It also leaves fingerprints, but the worst part is that it heats up to such an extent that you can't touch it with your hand.
