Dietary supplement of vitamin D3 for maintaining good health. Vitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the intestine and their deposition in the bones, while also controlling their levels in the blood.
Despite the fact that each organism can produce vitamin D3, the modern lifestyle and insufficient exposure to sunlight can lead to its deficiency. Supplement intake is recommended for the elderly, growing children, individuals with increased body weight, and athletes, who have reduced synthesis capability or deficiency of vitamin D.
Benefits
The role of vitamin D3 in maintaining the body in good condition is significant, as it contributes to:
the maintenance of calcium and phosphorus homeostasis
the health of bones and teeth
tissue metabolism
the function of various organs such as the skin, muscles, pancreas, nerves, parathyroid gland, and the immune system
the differentiation of cells and the maintenance of membrane functionality.

They do what they are intended for. Don't expect miracles if your vitamin D levels are extremely low. Then see a doctor and discuss other solutions. The classic nonsense they used to say in Greece about "go out in the sun to get your vitamin D" is not true and only creates problems.
These vitamins are not prescribed but my doctor recommended them to me because I had a deficiency in vitamin D3 and ever since then I have been buying them constantly.
In my case, I can't say that it had very satisfactory results in a reasonable period of time, so I had to switch to another brand and even a higher dosage because it was increasing too slowly. I must mention, of course, that when I started taking it, I was in a pregnant state and had increased vitamin D needs.
From 16 to 28 in a month and a half, reaching adequacy without ever going out in the sun.. One pill every day of 2000 after a meal. Then I continued with 4000+K2 for about two months and now I am at 50+.. No side effects
We were recommended it as a vitamin that will help our immune system since we got sick. We take one a day for at least two months, it seems to help. The pill is also small enough not to bother us. I will come back again for another review in depth over time for the results.
What can I say! The 5 stars are not enough! I wouldn't change it.
It does what it promises and more. I see a change in my mood, I feel stronger, better. Also, the pill is very small and it doesn't cause any discomfort. Highly recommended
So far, I have a very good impression... my doctor recommended me this vitamin after tests showed a deficiency in vitamin D. We will see its results in the next tests. I take one tablet with lunch!
It is excellent for helping control calcium levels in the blood and maintaining the health of bones and joints. I will also add that I was taking vitamin D3 for a month and then got infected with covid-19 somewhere. I want to say that I endured the illness very easily, almost imperceptibly, the easiest among all in my family. I know that the vitamin helped me a lot with this.
I have been taking these specific vitamins for a while and I am very satisfied! The most important thing is that they don't cause me any side effects, unlike some others that doctors gave me in the past.
It does what it promises! I had a score of 24 on my exams (borderline for passing). It immediately increases vitamin D3 and you can feel the difference instantly! Within a month, I noticed a difference in my nails, hair, and skin... The doctor then, after two months of daily use, recommended that I only take the pill two to three times a week.
We have been using it for years, my wife and I. I have been monitoring its price for at least the past 4 years. In the first examination for D3, I had 12 ng/ml. With a special immediate treatment (Deltius 100,000 iu/month), I improved immediately in 1.5 months. Since then, I have been on a doctor's recommendation, on maintenance (1200 iu/day) with this company. I think the product is overrated and the price is UNACCEPTABLY high (and it keeps rising because doctors usually recommend it...). There are cheaper ones with the same iu and even more capsules.... That's why I switched to another one this year. Generally, my work is indoors, but even in the summer, despite the fact that we are exposed to the sun a lot more, my D3 levels are low. It's one thing to get sun exposure and another thing to absorb D, especially as we age....
The topic of vitamin D is generally complex and interesting. How it is produced by our body (essentially being a hormone), what is a good dosage to see its benefits, and what other factors work synergistically with it.
2000IU of vitamin D will provide maintenance at best and nothing more. It is not a large quantity.
As an example: a study showed that 30 minutes in the sun during summer at noon (under the best conditions of the year) in Oslo, Norway (imagine midday in Greece during summer) provided the equivalent of 10,000-20,000 IU of vitamin D. So, roughly speaking, during summer when we are exposed to the sun for a few hours a day, feeling good, it is unlikely that we have a deficiency of vitamin D under these conditions, so we can take 20,000 IU per day. Of course, it's not that simple, other factors such as our skin pigmentation will affect synthesis, but the general idea remains: we have no reason to be conservative with our dosage.
For those who have a confirmed deficiency, 4-5000IU per day is a good dose to start with. This, along with the fact that vitamin D is best taken in combination with vitamin K, not alone, makes this product completely inadequate in my opinion. The price is expensive. We have no reason to pamper pharmaceutical companies. It is a product that falls short in every aspect. Look for something else.
My doctor recommended it to me due to a Vitamin D deficiency. I have been taking it for 1 month and will do tests to see how much it has increased, but I already feel good.
I am on the third box... after recent tests (6-4-2021), the Vitamin D deficiency is in the past... it's worth every penny 100%
I had a low D and it increased in 2 months. Of course, the weather improved and we also went out. I can't tell you 100%. It seems like it did the job though.
I had low vitamin D levels in my pregnancy tests (even though I was taking the calcium that also contains vitamin D) and my endocrinologist recommended this vitamin. I was informed by my endocrinologist that most pregnant women have a deficiency in this vitamin and that what I was already taking was not enough for me, just like most pregnant women. Vitamin D is also a hormone and is very important, it plays a role in developing gestational diabetes if you have a deficiency, as well as in gaining weight (if you have a deficiency). My endocrinologist also told me that they hold seminars and provide updates to gynecologists to separately introduce vitamin D to pregnant women and not just rely on the small amount contained in calcium. The vitamin D levels had increased as they should in the next test. I also ate sweets every day during pregnancy and did not develop gestational diabetes, and vitamin D contributed to this as well.
I use it daily for 1 year, according to the instructions of the pathologist, due to a slight deficiency of Vitamin D... The lab values no longer decrease, they have stabilized and slightly improved... For me, it does the job, albeit very slowly... It's worth every euro.
I took 2000 IU daily for 4 months and raised my D level from 12 to 35. However, I believe that if I hadn't also applied my (moderate) sun exposure (without sunscreen, something I didn't do sufficiently last summer), I wouldn't have achieved this result.
I had low vitamin D levels in my tests and my doctor recommended this company. I can say that I saw a significant difference with the first two tablets. I had a better mood, I was more optimistic, and I didn't feel my bones hurting. Even a hair loss issue that I had decreased. It may not be related to this specific condition, but it definitely gave my body a lot of energy!
