D3 is one of the most important supplements we can give to our body, and most of us are deficient in it during the winter months, so it is necessary for us. 1,200 is a small dose, but to see real benefits, we need to take a higher dosage. You will also see that in case of deficiency, your doctor is most likely to prescribe a 20,000 IU ampoule (per week).

  Prefer 4-5,000 IU and in that case, something that will also provide vitamin K2 (or take it separately) to absorb the excess calcium in the blood caused by vitamin D (that's why they are often available together as D3/K2).
