Usually, the hole for the screw is not exactly in the middle of the cylinder, and the part with the smaller dimension is placed on the outside of the door. In this case, the total length of the cylinder is 70mm, with the part from the screw hole to the outside of the door being 30mm and the part from the hole to the inside of the door being 40mm.
