Particularly buggy in connection, although you could say you get over that. The big problem is that it needs to be very close to the main WiFi. It doesn't pick up a signal even where an old mobile phone manages just fine.
Beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, but I have noticed that it often disconnects; I haven't identified the cause, maybe it's my router's fault.
Just dont buy it, bad value for money disconnects, doesnt come with a reset tool(atleast for me) and if you lose the reset tool which has a minimal size you wont be able to recconect it if you change your router
Tested with two Nova routers (Nokia and Huawei). It disconnects constantly once or twice a day and you have to unplug it to reconnect to the network. I changed both channels of the routers (2.4 and 5GHz) from Auto to a fixed channel but that didn't solve the problem either. I have no issues with the older single Xiaomi Wifi extender of 2.4GHz, which never disconnects.
I was getting 20 mbps with the ethernet on my router and as soon as I added the extender, I was getting 80 to 95.
It's worth the money!
For 18€, it's a great device, the distance from the router is about 6 meters with two walls and concrete columns in between. The range that some complain about, I find satisfactory. The apartment is on the 4th floor, as soon as I get out of my car, under the balcony, my phone connects directly, so the range is satisfactory. Now regarding the speed, I can't personally judge because it's on 24 ADSL and not on any 1gbps fiber optic.
The internet is really garbage, I plugged it in, connected it to the computer and it was buffering while I have a 500mbps line!!!
Quite good for its price. Decent range, almost no disconnections. Works better as an access point. Very limited settings through the app. Overall, very easy to use for someone who just wants an extender and doesn't want to bother with anything else.
It connects fine when it's close to the router, but as soon as I take it to the point where I want to extend the signal, it doesn't catch at all. My phone still has 2-3 bars at the extender's location and it can't connect to the router. I have done the process 5 times and the result is always the same.
In the first few days, it would disconnect sometimes, but lately it has been very stable.
