The SPi 12 is a professional passive speaker with 1000 watts program, 2000 watts peak, featuring the Peavey Quadratic Throat waveguide with RX 22CT compression driver loaded onto the constant directivity waveguide. The SPi 12 is a two-way speaker system consisting of the Black Widow BWX 12″ series woofer with a long throw voice coil. It has a trapezoidal-shaped enclosure, which reduces the buildup of standing waves inside to minimize mid-bass and mid-range coloration. The enclosure is made of plywood armored with metal support, coated with an embossed black polyurethane finish. A perforated steel grille runs the full length of the front, protecting its front side. A pole mount adapter is integrated to accommodate a speaker stand. Multiple flying points are provided to allow for aerial suspension.
