Being a huge fan of Deus Ex, I knew from the start that I wanted to play this particular game, so when it was released unfinished in 2020, I decided to wait. Playing it then in 2024 with most issues resolved, it stands as one of the best games I have played in the last 20 years.

To its credit, CD Project Red corrected its mistake and then released the excellent Phantom Liberty to complete the experience.

5★ - Gameplay, Level Design, Characters, Atmosphere, Graphics
4★ - Story, Story World, Sound Design, Driving
3★ - Stealth, Soundtrack

I am writing this review not to give another opinion on whether this particular game is good or bad, but to inform potential buyers and collectors about something you may not know. After all, you can read countless reviews about the game on the internet.

The Ultimate edition of Cyberpunk 2077 for Xbox specifically is the best version you can have in terms of completeness and maintainability. It includes 3 CDs that contain the full game as well as the Phantom Liberty DLC. Specifically, they include version 2.0 of the game, so you can enjoy an exceptional experience directly from the files on the CDs. Although I also have a PS5, buying the game on Xbox was the only option for the aforementioned reasons. The PS5 version does include this 2.0 version on the CDs, but the DLC comes in the form of a code, requiring a download and potentially losing resale value. Unfortunately, Sony is responsible for this, as they require an extra fee, forcing CD Project Red to opt for the code solution on the PS5.

Congratulations to CD Project Red for releasing a truly complete physical experience in 2023. Unfortunately, such releases are rare these days.

Amazing graphics, music, and sound, nice addictive story, and characters that will make you stick with them.
You really do whatever you want in the game, from driving to hacking cameras and computers!
It reaches even higher when Keanu Reeves makes his appearance!
