After a long career as a top FBI negotiator, Chris Voss offers a proven method for negotiations of all kinds that has been shown to succeed. Drawing from his experiences from the notorious and dangerous streets of Haiti to bank robberies in Brooklyn, Voss reveals the strategies that helped him and his colleagues achieve what matters most: saving lives.
Now, in the global bestseller "Never Split the Difference," he presents his nine principles to become more effective, both in our professional and personal lives. From buying a car or a house to getting a raise or having a conversation with our partner, every negotiation requires special skills to achieve our goal. After all, life is nothing more than a series of daily negotiations, from which we want to secure the best possible outcome for ourselves—whether we are in the company's conference room or our bedroom.
In this valuable book, Chris Voss offers us the principles, knowledge, and techniques required to handle any kind of negotiation challenge, without ever having to find a middle ground.

Excellent book ... but as other readers have rightly pointed out, the translation has issues. The content of the book includes correct negotiations in a model between two key points of the reptilian brain and the frontal lobe and how you can force the first and most powerful part to hand over the steering of the negotiation to the second and more rational one.
I think that complementing with the paradox of the chimpanzee, the reader can gain useful insights ..
Happy reading and I hope I helped!
