The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria™ follows the Dwarves as they embark on a new adventure to reclaim their legendary homeland, Moria, beneath the Misty Mountains. Players will join forces to survive, craft, build, and explore the iconic, sprawling mines. Brave explorers must stay vigilant, as mysterious dangers await them.

Summoned to the Misty Mountains by Lord Gimli Lockbearer, players take control of a company of Dwarves tasked with reclaiming the lost loot from the Dwarven homeland, Moria—known as Khazad-dûm or Dwarrowdelf—deep beneath their feet. Their quest will require fortitude as they delve deep into the mines of Moria to recover its treasures.
In a procedurally generated Dwarven realm of Moria, no adventure will be the same, and each quest can be undertaken either solo or online with companions. Players can mine to craft greater equipment and resources, but beware that mining makes noise, and the noise created in the quiet depths threatens to awaken dangers from below: where there is noise, there is combat. Discover the mysteries of three legendary mountains, mine precious metals, struggle to survive, and fight unspeakable forces to uncover the secret of the Shadow within you.
