Description
In the famous "oak forest" of Foloi in Mountainous Ilia, one of the top antioxidant honeys of Greek nature, oak honey (Drys), is collected. It is harvested during the summer months from the end of June to the end of July. Very dark, almost black, and quite thick honey with a wonderful caramel taste that crystallizes very slowly.

I had never tried oak honey before, but since I read about how nutritious it is, I decided to get it. It didn't impress me, it was like eating the pine honey from the same company, maybe a little less sweet. I don't think I will buy it again, especially considering the price difference, I would prefer the pine one.

I have no opinion, first time in my life trying this type of honey, so I have nothing else to compare it to. I have tried Cypriot blossom honey, which is less runny, opaque, more pleasant, and probably cheaper, more like a snack than an addition to beverages. I think it helps sometimes in beverages like chamomile, mountain tea, etc.
