Your ancient alien civilization is abandoning its dying planet in search of a new homeland. The promised land is represented by Gaia, which hosts the magnificent human civilization of Atlantis. But beware, other Houses (factions) of your civilization have the same goal, and only one will be able to dominate Gaia!

Anunnaki: Dawn of the Gods is a 4x eurogame by Simone Luciani and Danilo Sabia, set in an ancient dystopian past where mythology and science fiction merge. Each player represents a different House whose rulers are considered gods by the earthly population. Players build bases, recruit troops, embody gods, explore the area, develop their own technology, sign trade agreements, defeat local dominions and armies of other players, all while trying to conquer Atlantis, which holds immense treasures.

Different actions will grant a certain number of immediate Victory Points. Additionally, random initial objectives will offer you significant Victory Point rewards at the end of the game, based on specific conditions. In the end, the player with the most VPs will be the winner.

Besides the strong dose of control (the luck factor is minimal), the game features an innovative action selection system in a star formation, presenting players with interesting choices: players can embody their gods by executing their actions in a precise sequence, following predetermined paths on their star-shaped board, or they can abandon some deities, freely jumping from one action to another on their board, to periodically choose the best moves for the situation.
