The sound-absorbing panels made from polyester fibers under the trade name iZi fon are a direct and cost-effective solution to sound absorption issues combined with thermal insulation and mechanical strength.
They have the following features:
- They are not affected by ultraviolet radiation or humidity.
- They are not attacked by bacteria and microorganisms.
- They are an eco-friendly, fully recyclable material.
- Non-toxic and do not cause allergies upon contact with the skin.
They are used for:
- Sound-absorbing wall and floor coverings.
- Thermal insulation – sound insulation for air conditioning units and ducts.
- Applications in building, mechanical, and industrial constructions.
- Music studios, interventions between drywall in masonry or ceilings.
The iZi fon sound-absorbing materials are self-extinguishing and do not produce toxic gases or smoke in the event of a fire. They are safe for individuals suffering from asthma, as the fibers are non-toxic and non-allergenic.
Thermal conductivity coefficient λ10 = 0.338 w / m K (According to BS EN 12667:2001 / ELOT 514)
The iZiFON panels and rolls:
- Panel dimensions: 120 x 60 cm (panels) and 12 m x 60 cm (rolls).
- Thickness: 30 or 50 mm.
- Density: 20 or 38 Kg/m³ (panels), 10 or 12 Kg/m³ (rolls).
Operating temperature range: -40 to +80°C. It is very flexible and easy to install. Some types are made from recycled plastic packaging.
