Having been accustomed to the steam pod, I had very low expectations as I was looking for something easier to transport and mainly felt that steam damages my hair. So I bought the Braun.
And I'm amazed.
It's super lightweight and easy to handle.
With sensors that tell you if your hair is damp and if you're going too slow.
With many settings for temperatures and programs.
Within five minutes, I have perfect straightening at a relatively low temperature.
Okay, it's not the steam pod straightening, but it's a bit more everyday in 1/4 of the time, the hassle of hair and the fatigue of the hand.
I use the Braun after every wash and if needed, it takes two minutes in the morning for a refresh.
Of course, I use heat protectant, but so far I haven't noticed any damage. I don't think it will be significant anyway, considering how quickly the job is done and at such low temperatures.
It has saved my hands. And it's so lightweight that I can take it with me everywhere.
I use the steam pod about once a month when I want a little more wow result, not that the difference is extreme, it's just that the steam gives a more pronounced result.

Awesome product, I've had it for three years and I either curl or straighten my hair three times a week. It protects my hair and still works like the first day!

I have it for 3 years now! I am completely satisfied! I straighten my hair about 3-4 times a week. Sometimes even more. I use it excessively and my hair is fine! I recommend it for its price, it does an amazing job! Anyone who wants a good straightener with protection should consider it. The temperature can be adjusted in many ways, such as how thick your hair is or how long it is! Of course, you can also set the temperature you want! Easy to use, heats up quickly! Perfect!

A straightener that I have for a year! It is impeccable. Okay, it doesn't straighten as much as needed, but it has a very positive aspect! It doesn't burn the hair and adjusts the temperature according to the length and whether the hair is dyed or not! Ceramic plates on which the hair glides and doesn't stick! If the hair is wet, it warns you to dry it so as not to burn it and you can shape your own profile!

Negatives: Since I have changed many straighteners, I can say that this one is very mediocre. I have had it for 2.5-3 years now. The straightening is not very good as it only reaches up to 200 degrees. It fell once from a short distance and the plastic of the screen came out, but I managed to put it back in. It short-circuited due to my own mistake because my hair was slightly wet, but there is no service or spare parts available after the warranty expires. Even the store of the dealership told me that at these prices, there is no easy service, only from 80 euros and above... It should be noted that I bought it for 70.

Positives: It does not damage the hair much as it has nice plates. It has a long cord. It heats up quickly.

From my experience with 4 different straighteners, I can say that this is the best one. I bought it in August and it's great. It doesn't burn the hair, heats up quickly, and if you have wet hair, it adjusts the temperature so it doesn't burn it.

I have given it as a gift to my wife. Based on her comments, I judge that it is a decent pair of scissors. Furthermore, I cannot say more because I do not have an opinion.
