Adjustable height and tilt aluminum stand for laptops and tablets up to 16".
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
This is a small, foldable stand made of aluminum. It is minimalistic and has a nice aesthetic, but since it is foldable, it is not very stable. I believe that for a 15-inch laptop, it will do the job on a desk. I would recommend it for users who want something highly portable, as when folded, it is about the size of a rectangular pencil case and comes with a carrying case.
Well guys, I don't often review products because I'm not really into it, but this purchase was not worth it at all. I've had it for about 2 weeks now.
- First of all, I have to mention that moving the base with the laptop on top is impossible because the legs of the base are crooked and I have to lift the laptop and readjust it... overall, it doesn't make it easy to move it around on the desk and gives you a feeling that it's very unstable.
- Secondly, despite its immobility, one time I tried to lift it to move the laptop and 2 SCREWS FELL OUT FROM ONE SIDE. These screws are not easy to put back in because they are loose.
At the moment, I'm looking for a new base and I wasted my money on this one, seeing that it had 4 stars (???????)
I have been using it for 3 months to have the laptop next to an external monitor and I am satisfied.
It does what it says. I use it with a 15-inch Microsoft Surface and it's great. The metal on the base has a nice angle (they have thought of it).
I have some others that when you lower the screen, it "catches" and you have to "lift" the laptop to close it. With this one, with the angle they have given it, there is no problem.
It is lightweight, compact to take to the office, and there is no second thought about the price. It can be used with an external keyboard, mouse, and screen. If you need it to type on the laptop keyboard, you will probably need something with a larger base opening.
Unfortunately, it did not last even 3 months. In moderate use. I do not recommend it
For its price, it is very good. It definitely lacks stability and essentially requires you to type with a different keyboard, the way I use it. It has no other issues except for being careful when placing the laptop on top of it.
I use it for a 15" laptop (36cm long), keeping it steady on my desk. I believe it's not suitable for frequent movements, but for my own use and considering its price, it's fine.
I got it because of the free shipping from the store and now I can't work without it. Very lightweight construction, folds and fits in the laptop bag, very good height if you need to make video calls. A small tool especially for those who mainly work with laptops instead of desktops.
Honest! So simple! Of course, I recommend you to get it!
I have had it for a year and a half now and I have never had a problem. It is quite portable and I always have it with me in my backpack when I leave. The laptop (15.7'') has never slipped off and it doesn't move, even though I have accidentally bumped it several times so far. The only thing that needs attention is that it is difficult to adjust the height while the laptop is on top.
It is of very poor construction. One of the worst types of metal (if it is indeed made of this strange alloy). It is not very stable. I simply bought it at a relatively low price, so compared to the good ones that are very expensive, let's say it does its job at least.
When evaluating something, we evaluate it in terms of its quality based on its value. The stand cost 6.5€ and so far:
- It holds the laptop perfectly.
- It supports a very high to vertical position, so finally the screen is at the correct height (eye level).
- It is super portable and lightweight, I fold it and take it with me when I leave the office.
- It fits 100% in the need to place the laptop next to another screen to work with two screens, I type with an external keyboard.
I doubt if it is suitable for lifting the laptop a little and writing on it, it is a simple stand and not a stand (:
For my own use, having this specific stand permanently on my desk with the laptop on top, it's great and discreet. Now, for use on a bed, etc., I can say that it's a bit flimsy.
It significantly helps with neck posture, if combined with a wireless keyboard, even better for those who write a lot.
It is used with a 15.6 laptop. If you don't constantly move the laptop, it is quite stable. In relation to the price it costs, it is a good purchase.
The idea of the base is good and clever. However, the material and construction are not as good. Its material is not aluminum, it is an alloy, but it looks very cheap like those toys. It does not inspire confidence in its stability due to its mediocre construction.
The base is OK for a compact laptop 13-14'' in which one does not constantly plug/unplug peripherals. It is not the most stable, but for the price, it is great for raising the laptop higher so that the screen is closer to the eyes and you don't have to bend over
For its price, it's okay. That's why I'm giving it the 3rd star.
In the photo, it looks much more impressive than it actually is.
I wouldn't choose it again.
I would choose to spend a little more money to get something more stable.
However, it does its job if you're looking for something economical.
I have placed a 13-inch MacBook Pro on it.
If you move the stand and don't leave it stable with the laptop in one place, then it doesn't serve its purpose because the supports shake and you have to find the position where the laptop stays stable again.
And that's because the supports don't fit well.
It seems like a rushed job, while in terms of material, one would say it's satisfactory.
Good purchase, definitely not for Alienware and heavy laptops - for a work laptop it's fine.
Best value for money! I use it while working from home on my professional laptop. It has 7 different height settings and protective plastic cushions on the base to provide protection against scratches. When closed, it fits in the carrying bag and is very lightweight.
It is Chinese (made of thick aluminum though) quality user. The holes of one base have been reversed, resulting in it not fitting correctly, however, it does not affect the stability of the construction.
Also, it is not suitable for a 13.3-inch laptop in height. The metal bases protrude and when you open the laptop, the back of the screen finds it. You can fix it with thicker ones instead of slippery ones.
Overall, the angle of inclination is very high even at the lowest setting.
It does its job with patents
It is for laptops up to 14 inches. Stable, with non-slip feet and surface that comes in contact with the device!
It is exactly what it should be for its price, it has 7 levels of elevation and saves space when not in use.
It suited me very well! I use it with a 13-inch MacBook Pro. I was worried that the front edges would stick out and bother me, but it turned out great! If it opened 3 centimeters more, it would be perfect and even more comfortable. It's not suitable for a 15-inch laptop. Also, you can only use the mouse in the bottom left and bottom right corners, otherwise the screen has a negative tilt and it's annoying. But for a 2019 13-inch MacBook, it helps a lot in staying cool! I ordered it in silver color, but it came in black. I decorated it myself with a white color marker. I drew many things
Average! I expected a more sturdy construction. The stairs change on their own! Additionally, the "brake" it has at the end to prevent the laptop from slipping is not of satisfactory size and on some stairs my computer (13.3 inches and very thin) slips.
It is not the same product as in the photo!!!
First of all, the product is not the same in all stores.
The cheap one I bought (10 euros) has 8 adjustment positions but it doesn't have a fabric case like the more expensive ones.
Other than that, decent construction, I don't have stability issues with a 14" laptop.
From the fourth position and above, you will need an extra keyboard, it's not convenient to write long texts/for a long time, etc.
The only good thing is that it is cheap, but it is not particularly sturdy despite being made of aluminum. It has a lot of play. If you open it and put your laptop in, it does the job, but it gives you a cheap feeling.
I used it immediately as soon as I received it. It is very helpful, I have it on the last step with the laptop open, so that I have the angle I would have with a computer screen and the camera "sees" me in video conferences. It is now an integral tool of my work.
Not as sturdy construction as I imagined while it is small in size and this reduces its stability
